Tyrone Hills is right off of US-23 as you head up North, and I have played this course many, many times. Tyrone is definitely one of the easier courses to play because there is a lack of trees, water, and sand traps. There is really no rough to speak of and they keep the entire course mowed. Many of the hole are straight and right next to each other, so even if you hit a bad drive, you will typically still have a very good look at the pin. The layout is just OK; nothing spectacular and nothing that has me saying WOW on every hole. The one big thing that I do appreciate is that they keep the course in very good condition. The greens are always cut, rolled and true; tee boxes and trimmed and level, and everything is in it's place. I think this is a great course for beginners and when I have played there with women, they really enjoyed it. Overall, it is worth playing, but if you want more of a challenge, you may want to play a different track.
