Cozy spot for a great beer. We have gone several times, and have enjoyed our experience every single time. Our last trip was on our son's request to celebrate his 25th birthday, and we had a wonderful time.

Small laid back brewery that has wonderful beers to taste. Try the sampler and enjoy the atmosphere and the locals who go their. If the owner Brian is their which is most times ask all the questions you would like. He is a wealth of information and a lot of fun. If your lucky and ask he might give you a tour. Bring your own food and have a great time.

About the only reason this place doesn't get five stars from me is because they don't serve food. This is a pure beer-drinking spot, but a good one at that. If you stop by once a month it seems like there is always some new brew to try out. That is a good thing.

My hubby and I like to find new local breweries to try. We were in Mason for a wedding and had some time to kill before the recep. They have a good variety of beer. We got a sampler and it gave us a chance to try new things. My two favorites were the Raspberry Wheat and Chocolate covered Coffee. Only downside is there isn't much seating and was kind of crowded. But we will be back!

This is a great local hangout and definitely worth a visit if you're driving through Mason. A diverse selection of micro brews should make everyone happy from the "light" beer drinker to the hardcore micro enthusiast. They don't serve food but bring your own or order a sandwich from the local deli, The Vault, which is just a half a block to the North. This is a fun stop, everyone there is friendly and you can't beat the beer selection and quality. The interior of the building has been nicely remodeled and it's a nice casual atmosphere. The have darts and a couple flat screens over the bar if that's what you're looking for.

Visited here on a Friday night with my boyfriend and we ordered 2 flights of beer since it was our first time at this recently opened brewery. The variety of beers they have is impressive! Over 10 beers on tap. The one that stood out the most to me was a Xmas beer - the flavor was very distinct. This place had a great atmosphere with the bar staff attentive. The Olympics were on when we were there so the bar was a bid rowdy with cheering on USA, but that made it fun! They do not serve food, but allow you to bring in whatever food you want. Several TVs to watch sporting events. They have a mug club, but there is a yearly renewal fee. Their bathroom was very impressive! Just a single toilet but the ladies room is stocked with everything you could possibly need, nicely done. I also loved the history of the building in downtown Mason. They have some written information about the history and have old photos hanging up. It's really cool that the interior has brick showing. We will definitely be returning to this brewery and it is a must go for beer lovers when visiting Mason!

For a newer spot they do great brews. Really great selection of beers. They are just a brewery so you CAN bring your own food in. And there are plenty of stops on the way to grab food. Beers are priced well. Staff was nice. Bathrooms are nice too - bonus. My only complaint is that its a bit noisy when busy but its a brewery so thats to be expected.

We were in the area and wanted to test out taste buds to something different. I've never claimed to know anything at all about craft beers. In fact, we are complete rookies. We found out about BAD brewing from a Lansing visitors guide. It looks like a complete locals hangout but walking in everyone was so cool and welcoming. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered an eight sample flight to split between the two of us and ended up really liking two of them enough to bring some home.

The Lansing area has been in need of a good craft beer brewery for years. When Bad Brewing came into town, we were thrilled and hopeful. We only drink craft beers, and we even brew ourselves. So, we were excited to have a place to call "our hangout" so close to home, and we were hopeful that the brewery would introduce a broader range of people to craft beer. When the brewery first opened, we were sorely disappointed in the flavor and quality of the beer. The beer was cloudy with sediment and the styles tasted nothing like they should have. However, we decided to give it another try this summer, and the beer had drastically improved. There are several selections, and I would think most people could find something they like. I would say, if you're in the area, definitely give it a try. The atmosphere is comfortable, and even though they don't serve food, you're welcome to bring your own. Bad Brewing - keep up the good work. I think you're finally getting somewhere!

The atmosphere is neat, the beer is cold. It's a must try! I had the house pilsner and it was a refreshing change from your usual domestic drafts.
