The Paddock-Hubbard House was built around 1845. It owners have had interesting histories which is told on the State historical marker which is located outside the house. It is preserved as it was complete with original furnishings. The house is open after Hubbard Memorial Museum Foundation events both at the house and the First Unversalist Church down the street. A wonderful feed is put on after these events and are free (donations accepted). In the summer a Civil War Day event includes rides, Civil War enactors, outdoor cooking (you can eat the food) and there is again no charge. A wonderful place.
