historical museum

This three story home depicts what life was like 100 years ago in Clawson. The basement is full of items used to keep the house in order: washing "machine", tools, games etc... On the third floor one room has history of Clawson and another is full of antique toys to help kids see what life was like then. The curator was extremely helpful. We have booked several tours for smaller scout groups and she is so accommodating and gears each tour for the ages of the group attending. They decorate for the holidays too. Check the city website for hours. They will make special tours almost any time/day of the week.
