rusty wallace racing experience

Had an opportunity to run 10 laps at MIS in October. staff was fantastic, very friendly, major emphasis on safety and a great time for the driver. having the ability to actually run with other cars, pass and be passed was awesome. cars were in great shape and handled great. I would recommend to anyone who is a fannof racing regardless of the series you follow.

This was third time behind the wheel of a stock car at Michigan Int'l Speedway. The experience keeps getting better and better. In part that's because the people that you deal with at RWR are really great. Can't wait to do it again next year. Sign me up!

I bought the 10 lap package prior to getting there and ended up getting the ride a long for both myself and my son. The both of us left wanting to do more. It was by far one of the most fun things I have ever done. The staff was very helpful and even let me stay on the track for aan additional 2 laps.

if you like to go fast then this is the place to do it, the crew was great the price was reasonable and the experience was outstanding

The driver training was spot on! Recommendation was given to do the Ride-a-long first. Really glad I did. The driver pointed out all the track details/instructions given in class and was great way to get accustomed to speed and G forces. Made being behind the wheel very comfortable. I signed up for the first session (8 am) just in case there was any delays I would still get to drive that day. I did have to wait just a little bit between suiting up and getting on the track for the driver and they were still preparing the cars for the day. Very happy with experience :-)

Today I went and did the 10 lap race experience out at MIS with the Rusty Wallace Race Experience. The instruction before racing was informative, fun and totally prepared you for the racing experience. When your done with the class, there is no waiting around, get you fire suit, helmet, and head on out. Not less than 10 minutes after the class I was on the track. The spotter helps you achieve the best results and talks enough so you know what you need, but doesn't chatter too much. I really can't say enough about how impressed I was with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has ever thought about it before or if you just want to experience going 150mph around a race course.

We purchased a ride along for my son's 15th birthday. Awesome day. Staff was wonderful and nothing but helpful and pleasant. There were some weather issues that effected the track and what could have been a disaster was handled with the utmost professionalism and we knew that their main concern was safety. All turned out well and my son had the "best birthday ever imaginable" - his words. If you are wondering if this is worth it?? In one word - ABSOLUTELY!!

Wow, had a great time with the Rusty Wallace Racing experience. However, I was one of the lucky ones that day. I was scheduled for an 8:00am race time and therefore was one of the first ones on the track. The day started with a one hour delay due to a light rain and the need for them to dry the track. Then 1 lap into our drive another light rain came. The folks with Rusty then had all of us out on the track drive for over an hour at a controlled slow speed behind a pace car to dry the track out again. Sounds great, and it did get a bit boring, but it also gave me a chance to really get a feel for the car and race line. Once the track was dry, we were brought back into the pits for refueling and another safety check. Then we were allowed back on the track to run our purchased laps at full speed (or whatever speed you may be comfortable with) - And all I can say is "WOW".The only sad parts are, due to the weather/track-drying delays I learned that quite a few others had to be rescheduled; and, with the long time it took to dry the track, a friend of mine, also out on the track, developed muscle spasms and couldn't complete his purchased driving experience. He is looking onto the possibility of rescheduling.Every person who I had contact with that day, from registration, training, fitting, car assistance, and spotting, were very courteous and helpful. Great group of people. I had a blast and would love to do it again.

Bought this racing package for my husbands birthday gift. He was apprehensive at first, but after he took the ride along he was super pumped to drive. When he got out of the car his smile said it all! I haven't seen him that excited since the birth of the kids! He's been talking about this experience non-stop since October 11, 2014. He shows everyone the video! What an awesome day he had! Thank you for providing such joy to my husband! Now I want to send him again, this time with the boys, age 24 and 35! We have recommended this experience to several family and friends. The staff was professional and really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Hope to see y'all again soon!

I had an absolute blast. My adrenaline ran hard 1 hour after the experience. The crew was the best, second to none and really took the time to make all feel welcome. My advise to all is get an early scheduled appointment. MIS is the perfect track to open the car up and Boogety Boogety Boogety. Even if not a Nascar or Race fan, but like speed, this is for you! See you next year, I am hooked.

I gave this gift to my husband for our anniversary and he absolutely loved it. We went to MIS on Oct 12, 2014. Everything was on time and very organized from beginning to end. He got up to 155 mph! He also got an extra lap from his spotter so they definitely take care of you if you follow all of the rules on the track. It was a lot of fun for me to watch it too. We would highly recommend this racing experience to any Nascar fans.

Did 4 laps with a pro doing 180 then got to drive 155 myself. You have to put this on your bucket list for sure.

I had a great experience! Staff was great, helpful and knowledgable. Their priority is safety first. I will definitely sign up next year.

I received a birthday gift of 8 driving laps at MIS. We were rained out the first time in 2013 but rescheduled in 2014. The pit guys were great! Everyone was really great! Can't wait to go back!

RWRE was just a great great deal .Everyone was just wonderful and I mean every one, very helpful and friendly . Extremely well organized , car ran perfectly, the ride and drive was everything they said it was. Cut the learning curve way way down, hit the rev limiter in second lap because if it. If your a race fan this is a must. My wife and daughters got me this for my 60th bday and it was great.denny bart
