This museum is so much fun! Great for all the little ones! A lot of different things to do but my daughter particularly liked the cave with the slide, the Tot Spot area and your epic grocery centre! We could have spent all day here! I'm so glad we decided to visit, we will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Erie!

Located downtown, and pretty close to all the other attractions that this small city has to offer. They have my hands on activities for younger children. Some of which are a cave with a slide, a water feature that allows children get to build dams and play with boats, they even have a small town area that includes a grocery store, bank and doctors office. Check their website to see what special activities they have planned.

This is a small kids play museum, but they have some wonderful exhibits and the price is very good ($6 per person when we went). Our kids are 4-9, we were there for about 6 hours total and the kids would have stayed longer if it wasn't closing. Definitely a wonderful place to visit with children, the staff was welcoming and curteous.

We had our daughters 7th birthday party at the museum and the kids had a great time. The party room (balcony) was perfect and the staff was very helpful. Highly recommend for a child's birthday!

Got kids? Take them here and watch them enjoy the about a half day of fun and games. Worth every penny of admission.

We had a VERY excited toddler to visit this museum yesterday, Nov 14. In fact, this museum is the reason we chose to visit Erie over Pittsburgh. Anyway, online states hours 10-4. Checked the website before heading over and there were no announcements. Arrived around 11/1130 only to find all the lights off and the museum closed.Very, very disappointed.Do yourself a favour and call ahead to avoid disappointment for your child.

This is something you simply wouldn't expect in a smaller city like Erie. With a population of just under 250k you would think that this kind of amazing entertainment for families would be hard to find. The only downside is that during the week they're only open until around 5 or 6, not leaving locals time to take their families but weekends are great. Limited hours are the only downfall of this place. They just updated the entire 3rd floor - a land of pretend for kids from toddler to probably 10 or 11. Teens can enjoy some of the more scientific areas. There is just simply so much to do and kids are learning the whole time without even knowing it. A great place for families or anyone with kids. They offer a wonderful place to take the grandkids or your entire family. We can't say enough good about this place!

so much for the kids to do. They will never get bored. memberships and admission prices very reasonable. Great area for kids parties. Fun activity for the long winter months. kids of all ages love it

We came here from out of town and found the place to be very nice. Our daughter very much enjoyed playing in the different buildings that were set up, and really liked the slide. We would come back again.

Took the grandkids here one rainy morning before waiting for the weather to clear to head for the beach. It was good for our kids but don't think kids over 9 or 10 years of age would care for it as much. All in all, it's a good rainy day activity for kids.

It is perfect size for little ones: not too big that is overwhelming or too small that they get bored. We got a membership and really loved coming here almost every week for story time, their classes for toddlers, festivals or just to enjoy the interactive displays. Great place for small children during winter if you don't want to be outdoors. They love the water dam, the little town stores and crafts corner. You can bring lunch and eat there. Bring lots of quarters for parking!

What's not to love about this place (other than the germs)! They have slides, interactive games, and the education process of it all is fun! Kids love this place and I see why!

My husband and I took 7 family children. No problem keeping them interested and together. You can cover all 3 levels in 1/2 to 2 hours. But our youngsters wanted to stay longer! Pack snacks or a lunch. No refreshments or snack available. But they have a nice room to sit and eat. Great place overall. Handicapped accessible to all...which I find top knock as being a nurse. Great place for meeting new little friends and other. Nothing better than watching children interact, learn, and grow! Love the time together.

My 2 year old daughter and I had a wonderful time at the Erie Children's museum. There was lots to keep her busy and entertained. There are three floors of activities. The best floor was the top floor that allowed for lots of pretend play with a bank, doctor's office, and supermarket. She really enjoyed shopping and "purchasing" items. Make sure you bring your own snacks or lunch with you though because you can't purchase any refreshments there. They also have a small room for the kids to eat their snacks at. Although this room was a little messy, my daughter didn't seem to mind.Overall wonderful experience and we will be back. If you plan on coming a few times throughout the year, you are better off buying a membership. Enjoy!
