I enjoyed playing at this course several times a year but after my experience there today, I'll never go back. Play wise the course isn't too bad except for the pitcher mound-like tee boxes (Hint to superintendent: Tee boxes are supposed to be flat). But what did me in was the rude and pompous person I met in the pro shop. The sad part is this person was apparently the owner. I can't believe this man has a business. Though I'm very certain if this is how he runs a business and treats customers it won't be long before the course turns into a cow pasture. I voiced my displeasure about my experience in the pro shop to a female worker after our round. She was very nice and said "yeah he's not very good with the public". This is what you'll be dealing with if you go there folks. Good luck. I'm sure there are plenty of other courses in the area that will appreciate the extra business.

We're here a lot while attending a wedding in the area. The staff was rude to say the least. The waitresses who served at the reception were delightful. But, the guys working the golf course, rude! They were even rude to the bride on her wedding day

The course is challenging especially for short hitters but play the forward tees for your skill level and it is a great game. The front and back play different in that the front is open and the back requires some good placement on shots.

We had a lovely dinner at Stonehedge, starting with well prepared cocktails. The pleasant bartender knows what she is doing. Warm rolls were served with an herbed butter or regular butter, a nice touch. The calamari appetizer was excellent, followed by a nicely presented salad with crisp, fresh mixed greens, walnuts and dried cranberries, and tomatoes that had not just come from the refrigerator, a major annoyance at many restaurants. Our entrees were very good from the menu that offered many tempting choices.Service efficient and pleasant. Because it was such a hot day we chose to eat indoors in the air-conditioned area, however the outdoor seating is very nice on days when it can be appreciated.

I was a commercial fisherman most of my life ,and Stone Hedge Golf Restaurant is the only place in NE Pa who know how to cook fish. If you pass it by it's your loss .

This is a well maintained, very challenging course in a rural location. There are also many amazing scenic views from many spots along your outing. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly, making your experience fun from start to finish. They also have a great top notch restaurant for dining and a very nice 19th hole to enjoy a beverage while winding down after your round of golf.

If you like a great view with your meal, this is for you. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. The only issue we had was some confusion in the service. I am sure that was a exception and we will dine here again.

Stone Hedge's second summer season is upon us and we took advantage of the long daylight hours to have dinner on the porch. We had steaks, tender and accompanied by mashed potatoes and carrots, and pork tenderloin with peach glaze. It's pleasant to just sit out on the porch with drinks without ordering a meal. We called for reservations but there were plenty of tables available on a Saturday night (but not by the rail of the porch where we could look over the golf course). Hope to make it here again this summer!

One of the best , lots of sand, water, trees and stuff. A real challenge ! Takes a pro to par this course.

My wife and I came to town and took 7 local family members to easter buffet. $25 per person but not impressive--it didn't have a lot of choices, nothing was special--pretty ordinary food. As with the other businesses in the area we were beyond unimpressed with the quality of the staff. People around here aren't very motivated. I had to make 5 phone calls before I could get a body on the line to make a reservation for the buffet. Never did get a return call from the manager's office.I have to presume--based on my experiences over the years in this area--that the service at other parts of this operation are the same low performance as what we saw during our Buffet experience.

This course presents different challanges on the front than the back 9. Usually in good shape. New clubhouse .Back is hilly and tight with some blind shots

New club house. Menu is very good. This is a public golf course set in a very scenic location. Friendly staff and well kept grounds. You will be pleasantly surprised.

TPC quality course, the most beautiful scenery, a pro tournament would be at home here. If you are a golfer and visiting Northeast PA this course is a must play.

The new restaurant and club house is a wonderful addition to a beautiful and challenging golf course. Food in both venues is great but dinner and drinks on the porch are spectacular for the views. Great food, beautiful setting, worth seeing.

The course was in excellent shape with very fast greens. Very scenic area with some very tough holes. Cart paths were pretty rough and there is no lighting in the parking lot. The course is definitely worth playing
