We live down the road from Mister Ed's Elephant Museum. We take visitors there and they think it's cool. Leaving with a bag of candy is awesome. Our kids are adults but they still love candy. A must see.

Mr. Ed's is a great family friendly environment. They have something for everyone young and old alike. When you walk in look up over the fudge counter and see the gorgeous mosaic that was done from broken pieces of elephants after the fire. There are so many things to see both in the store and outdoors around the grounds. They have great holiday experiences as well at Christmas time and Easter. The easter egg hunt is a blast!! Definitely a great stop on any trip, long or short.

First went to this establishment in May with a couple of friends, but did not try anything....I was on a crazy diet. This time I went with my wife. This is an interesting attraction roadside attraction. Mr. Ed sure likes the elephants, they are everywhere in this establishment. It is pretty cool. The candy ranges from the mainly the everyday candy to some of the old fashioned stuff. Let me tell you about the fudge. I am not a big fudge eater, but Mr Ed's is pretty darn good. I was really skeptical about the maple bacon fudge. The fudge has has real bacon bits heavily sprinkled on top. Wow! It was fantastic. Fudge is usually too rich for me, but this incredible. Did I mention the bacon. The chocolate walnut fudge was good too. Besides the candy and elephants, there is also small gifts and momentos one can purchase. I also like how it was decorated for Christmas. the staff was very friendly. Two thumbs up!

I recently took my grandkids here over Christmas vacation. They had a blast . Very retro, lots of neat things for sale plus mountains of old fashioned candies and snacks. The elephant museum is neat too. Prices are good and no admission charge.

I travel to Gettysburg 4-6 times a year. This is our 'get out of the van and stretch' location. I am a elephant collector plus I love goodies so this is perfect for me! The bathrooms are clean, the prices are varied depending on what you are going after but we never leave empty handed! For the reviewer below whom commented 'this isnt a museum and go to the sweet shop in Gettysburg' obviously isnt getting that this is in fact a museum of a different kind and must of missed the entire section behind glass? Yes, this isnt Gettysburg but I was well aware of that when I pulled in and to compare it to the sweet shop is a bit unfair as both are great places!

My husband and I were driving to the wineries in the area and we kept seeing signs for Mister Ed's. After seeing several of them, we decided that we had to stop. We walked in and were impressed with the candy selection. They had bags of candy for $4.95 each or 3 for $12, which was a pretty good deal. We thought 4.99 for the big peanut butter cup was a little much. We also tried the fudge while there, which was very good and would highly recommend! Overall, it was a good stop and we highly recommend for the unique experience.

Mr. Ed's is definitely worth the drive whenever you visit Gettysburg. The collection of miniature elephant figurines and other toys was very nice. Don't forget to try some homemade fudge while you're there.

We happened upon Mister Ed's Elephant Emporium purely by chance. The road signs had piqued our interest but when we got to the actual location, it was delightful. The outdoor decorations just prior to Halloween added a special touch to an already inviting area. Once inside, we were tickled with the selection of candy. Many items we hadn't seen since we were kids and others we had not seen before. The display of the elephants was also impressive. The staff was a bit stiff but the selection of candy and the fun atmosphere made up for it. We will definitely Make Mr. Ed's a stop if we are ever in that area again.

Stopped in the first time a few years ago with my Daughters & and have been coming back every time we are in the area. First we peruse the collection of elephantobilia® & then the sweets! There are also unique souvenir/gift items in a small gift shop. There are kid-friendly statues, etc. to see out front as well.I also discovered the 'Route 30' movies here (in which Mister Ed just happens to make an appearance in & are set in S Central PA).Mister Ed's is a great stop for young & old alike - if you find yourself on this stretch of the Lincoln Highway, stop in& visit for a spell!

We stopped by Mr. Ed's because we have always seen the signs on the highway and it looked interesting. It is a candy lovers dream but that is pretty much what it is. The homemade fudge is out of this world! You are able to walk around the grounds which has some really neat statues and sculptures it was decorated for Halloween when we visited which was neat,

We saw signs for Mister Ed's along the highway and decided to give it a try. It's a unique collection of elephant stuff - big and small. Most of the indoor space is dedicated to selling candy and tourist items. Overall an interesting way to stretch your legs if you've been in the car too long.

Kitschy Americanna at its best! Every conceivable type of candy in the world, and a whole ROOM full of Pez dispensers. The fudge is AMAZING--the pumpkin pie fudge made my eyes roll up in my head. Definitely worth a stop.

I love candy therefore I really enjoyed this place! Could it use a little touch up? Sure but it has personality! Museum may be a stretch of the word. It's probably better called an extensive personal collection over a life time.
