courtyard wineries

We stopped in to Courtyard on Friday night for a tasting. They have a tasting bar in the front for their sweet wines and one in the back for drier wines. My husband and I sampled both. We found the all the wines to be unique and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the Chocopelli - a cross between a chocolate and wine. My husband enjoyed the Beach Glass White. At the back bar, we both really liked the Chardonel. We had a very nice time talking to the owners - they were very knowledgeable about both wine and attractions in the area. We really enjoyed our visit!

We stopped in to sample their wines while on a trip to North East for fun. The wines are really really good, affordable, and the owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. We enjoyed tasting, and of course purchased, but then we were surprised to hear of their "Crazy Hat Party" event being held the very day we visited! There were people in hats that were completely CRAZY! One lady wore a hat that was a cupcake holder for a dozen cakes, another had a beach scene with a lifeguard and chair on her head and I could go on and on! It was a really fun, entertaining, event and we will go back again! Great place!

Four of us recently went to Courtyard Wineries for the first time. They have two separate bars: one for sweeter and one for drier wines. The staff was knowledgeable, personable, friendly and helpful. All four of us agreed that this was one of our favorite wineries from our trip (we went to 17). The wines were all quality, the descriptions were helpful to choose as well. The tasting fee was $2 for four samples, but each of us had five samples. The bottle prices were very reasonable, which made it even more difficult to decide what to purchase. We will absolutely return to Courtyard in the future!!

We visited on a trip through the Erie Wine Country.This winery is one of the best on this one day trip for us.I prefer semi-dry to sweet wines and my husband likes the dry wines.Barjo Bons line is perfect for me and LaCourette was what my husband enjoys.The winery tasting room is large and airy and the day we visited there was a chef their pairing food samples with the wines. I found a perfect red wine for my self (I really don't like reds all that much) and plan to go back to buy a case of the Twisted Red for our cellar.This sia very nice upscale boutique winery that is worth the trip and time to explore their wines.
