This was my first experience doing a corn maze and what fun it was! Zembrzycki Dairy Farm has been doing corn mazes annually for at least the last 5 years and they do them very well! The designs (which you can see on their website) are intricate and interesting and vary from year to year. Having only completed this year's, I can say that you need to collect 8 "clues" hidden throughout the challenging design in order to "win" your prize (a blow pop) from the maze operators. It was cute and definitely fun for the whole family. Also, it is not for the faint of heart - it is manageable thanks to the fact that they give you a small aerial photo of the maze on the back of your clue sheet so you can actually follow your way through - but even with that, it took my family 1.5 hours to walk through it. Of course, amidst the gorgeous fall foliage on the surrounding hillsides and immersed in 11 foot high corn stalks, the time flew by and we were just happy to be out enjoying the day. Also on site is a large pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin or select from the ones they have pre-picked for you. There are big bails of hay laid out like spiders and pumpkins where kids can climb and have fun monkeying around. A few other farm raised vegetables are also for sale with the pumpkins if you are so inclined. All in all, for $5 (less for young kids) you can have an afternoon of challenging fun in the maze and hang around on the farm grounds afterward enjoying your spoils. I definitely would go back in future years to tackle the next maze creation.
