Meeting up with friends who we hadn’t seen in years, we decided that Guppy’s Good Times would be a good place to hang out for the night. Arriving around 5PM on a Saturday night, the bar’s seats were already mostly full. We looked over the menu for some food and ordered their signature Conshohocken Crush a mixture of grape flavored vodka and fruit juices. Pretty tasty and a bizarre orange look considering its grape flavor. The food is all prepared well and some interesting choices like Poutine Fries, Tomato Basil Humus, Filet Sliders and Pot Stickers. We tried a few items and all were testy and looked home made. The bar has a nice cozy feel with an incredible jukebox that I found very hard to stump. {Playing some very obscure tunes while we waited on our friends. Our friends arrived about an hour or so later and the fun begins. The owner set aside the back part of the bar we=here there are tables for our groups and we eat and drank for hours. Within a few hours this place got very busy so apparently this is a popular spot. It’s a festive place with good eats, the owner takes pride his business and is very hands on. If ou’;re in the area and looking for a fun little hang out Guppy’s Good Times delivers what it promises.
