Where the wines are cool and the hippie chicks rule, Being a child of the 60's this place is wild!!! Grannies Toast and Wild Cherryola and Burning Bra are some of my favorites.

We stopped here on our girls day! This was our first stop & a pretty awesome one! We had a van load of girls that were ready to sample lots of wine! Very tasty wines and knowledgeable staff. The decor is awesome! Rooms filled with lots of vintage goodies to look at! Alf, wizard of oz, and the Beatles to name a few. Definitely will stop back again. They have a beautiful deck that would be great to sit on & relax in the summer. Thank you for an awesome time!

Great location, unusual building. Offbeat ( but good) wine, not what you'd expect. Friendly folks, you'll have a good time there!

We visited Long Trout Winery on a recent long weekend getaway to Pennsylvania. We really enjoyed this winery, they have some very nice wines amd a great collection of memorabilia. Their tastings are complimentary and there is no limit. A fun place to visit for sure!

During a weekend getaway to Central Pennsylvania, my wife and I decided to try out some wineries that we had never been to so we came across Long Trout Winery. It's out of the way, off the beaten path and not where you would expect to find it. But once inside, you're taken back to some great memories of your youth. The owner has a large collection of items, the most prominent being those of The Beatles, The Wizard of Oz, and The Three Stooges. The bar is a lighted top with artwork reminiscent of the Yellow Submarine or Sgt. Peppers album covers. The wines, although not top shelf, were tasty and had quite interesting names reflective of the period. It was a busy place and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves at this quaint winery. It also has "disc golf" but we were unable to experience due to the season. During the visit you will also listen to music of the times displayed on large screens. Very nice place to visit! Again!

Stopped by this winery on a visit to Pa. with my girlfriend and my nephew and his wife. This winery has a Frisbee golf course on the property and entering the tasting room you are confronted by widescreen tvs showing concert videos, a lot of music and tv memorabilia and the tasting bar done in tie dye and "hippie" symbols. They have over 40 wines on the tasting list and allow you to taste 10. The winery does not grow any of the grapes used in making the wines, but they are locally sourced. The wines were interesting but generally good. These included a chocolate cherry and one made with pumpkin seeds. If in the area, it is worth a visit.

Of all the wineries in the area, this is the most unique experience. The wine is also excellent, too!

I enjoy going to Long Trout because it is a "hippie" winery. Lots of 60's-70's music decor and the wine names are very creatvie and funny. Mostly sweet and fruity wines if that is what you like. Also chocolate based wines too. Nice new addition with outside area to sit and picnic, sometimes they will have music as well in the summer months. They also have a frisbee golf course in the woods. Nice laid back kind of winery.

I love long trout winery! They have such a large selection of wines my favorites are their Bon Aire Grave' and Blackhole Blackberry. Everyone is so friendly and it's such a laid back atmosphere, definitely no pretinciousness here. They have a great little patio where you can enjoy a bottle and in the summer they have bands and they also have disc golf.

Once you find this off the beaten track little winery you'll be very pleased that you made the trip. The decor and ambience is all about the Sixties and Seventies with tons of music memorabila all around. The folks running the place like to give off a "hippie" vibe and it's a lot of fun standing at their tasting bar and chatting. The wines are unusual but pretty decent. Basics like a cabernet sauvignon, reisling and syrah were all fairly well done. But there aren't many places you'll find things like Sour Cherricola - a tart cherry wine, Morning Wood - an Asian pear varietal, Yellow Snow - a hot pepper wine, and Old One Eye - a wine made from garden vegetables. So head off the main road and visit a unique winery that will challenge your palate and make your head feel good.

Great selections of wine, nice hosts, was able to sample every type of wine. Worth the drive and time spent there.

Neat place. Good wines (we bought three bottles). We drove 90 minutes to go there and feel the time was well spent.

Everytime we come here, which is several times per year, it is always full but always fun. The wines and the descriptions of the wimes are very interesting. We especially like the wine and cheese events. Our favorite wine is the Mornin Wood, but they seem to sell out quickly.
