We did, actually we moved for a job, but were pleasantly surprised that we can walk, run or bike to Klode Park. With public parking and restrooms this pretty little park nestled into a beautiful residential Whitefish Bay neighborhood has something for everyone - sand, water, tennis, playground and open space.

Terrific view of Lake Michigan, maybe the best place around to be on the fourth of July for corn dogs and fireworks. Otherwise, a nice, quiet park in a residential area.

We are very fortunate to have Klode Park so close to our home. It's a beautiful treasure for Whitefish Bay. If you're here on the 4th of July, make sure to see the parade, which ends at Klode Park and is capped off by an evening of fireworks.

We were looking for a place to picnic near Milwaukee and found this beautiful free park. It has picnic tables and clean restrooms which were just what our family needed. The grounds are connected to an awesome overlook of Lake Michigan with a winding walkway down to the rocky beach which afforded the kids a great exploring opportunity. The playground was also an added plus the kids enjoyed and there are tennis courts too. We visited in October so there were very few people around and the fall color was at it's peak. We will definitely make this a stop whenever we are traveling through the area.
