You never know what you'll find. It's in the central part of South Milwaukee and has locally grown fruits and veggies, music, local fair, crafts and more. Stop on by and see what you think. During the winter time they have a Christmas fair as well.

I've been a steady patron of the South Milwaukee Downtown Market for over three years. The market runs Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm in the City of South Milwaukee. The organizers keep adding more attractions, music acts (celtic, jazz, rock, country) TIP: Bring lawn chairs if you'd like to picnic. And on three nights in August they featured a Groovy Movie Night, to watch a G-rated family movie outside, under the stars. The market features a wide variety of hot food BBQ Chicken, burgers, eggrolls, European Sausage (why cook dinner?) and fresh from the farm seasonal produce (strawberries, sweet corn, honey, eggs, cheese, root vegetables, greens, apples, cider, and squash. Parking can be tricky. I recommend parking towards the south on Madison Avenue Between 10th/11th or near 11th and Michigan. The market runs every Thursday, from May to October, 3pm to 7pm. Free admission and free street parking.
