Beautiful place in lovely country setting. Nice informative tour,great dining,nice gift shop..and don't forget the baked bread from their own bakery!!soooo goood!!

Beautiful location, and buildings, nice gift shop and great baked goods. The main chapel is lovely be sure to see the old fort, and post office. Gift shop not open on Sunday.

If you're looking for a different place to visit near Dubuque this location is home to a large community of Dominican sisters. Set in a beautiful, large landscape this convent was once a boarding school. There is also a large church chapel and gift shop where they sell baked goods the Sisters have made. A beautiful location for sightseeing, or simply joining for mass.
