I Went on a pontoon Cruise with my sister and our 2 close friends and absolutely LOVED IT! The guide was not only friendly but very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. What more can you want.. beautiful scenery, tons of Loons, some bald eagles, very comfortable ride and (non-alcoholic) drinks are included. I suggest going in August, it was perfect weather (70's). Every time I visit my friends in the North woods we have to go on the pontoon cruise it's become a tradition. I promise you and your family will enjoy it! I can't wait to go next summer!

The day we booked the 3-hour lunch tour was overcast with a threat of rain so Chad called us on our cell phone and suggested we join the group going out a little later in the day when the chance of rain wasn't so great, which we readily agreed to do. We were impressed by the fact that they put our comfort and safety in the forefront. My husband and I along with another group of five people set off for our two-hour tour in a 24 foot pontoon which was very comfortable and there was complimentary bottled water in case you got thirsty. Our guide/boat operator Chad was very knowledgeable about the lakes we cruised and some of the famous homes along the shores including one belonging to Elizabeth Taylor's uncle Howard Young, and Elizabeth Taylor was a frequent guest there as well as Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower. There were also huge lake homes owned by the owners of 7-Up and the company that founded Listerine. It was also fun to see some of the old boat houses and private islands on these lakes. These are all things we never would have known about if we hadn't taken the tour. Chad was also very informative about the wildlife in the area as well and helped us spot an eagle up in one of the trees. The cruise was very relaxing and informative and we felt it was well worth the money. We will book them again next summer. Hopefully, we will have a nice sunny day next time but even if we don't, we know we are in good hands and will have a great time.

We registered to go out on a pontoon cruise on three lakes in Minocqua, The driver was very knowledge able and the cruise was very relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a better afternoon, to see the lakes of Minocqua.

I've been vacationing in Minocqua since I was a child and it wouldn't be a trip without getting out on the lake, but who wants to pay the high fee to rent a boat when you just want to sight see? This service is the answer. We took the morning cruise that lasted about 2 to 2-1/2 hours, where our guide gave us the history of some of the boathouses and cottages, as well as pointing out a lot of wildlife along the way. It was informative, enjoyable, and affordable. The small group setting (there were 7 guests on our cruise) made for easy conversation and allowed for comments and questions. This will definitely be on my list of things to do every time I return to the area. I think the next time I'll try the sunset cruise.Take your camera with plenty of disc space and batteries -- you won't want to miss any of this beautiful scenery. (I ran out of disc space but thankfully the rest of my party was able to continue taking photos.)
