Cingplaces
508-acre park on Lake Alexander & the Wisconsin River with camping, hiking, swimming & fishing and it was just peaceful to sit by the dock and just watch the tadpoles by the boat landing along with walking the paths. There were many fisherman and everyone was so nice as I find many people in Wisconsin to be just so friendly and treat everyone as they want to be treated. The rapids off the dam were beautiful as well. Just bring the bug spray as there were plenty of mosquitos. Military and retired military honored and receive free entry. There is a state park fee of $6 for seniors or $10 per car otherwise.Take the trip just about 10 minutes from the center of town. You won't be sorry as the lake is so calming. I have some amazing pictures and will figure out how to add those for you to see the serene beauty and the rapids with their pulsing water.
