Everyone is super kind and friendly. This is our first season spending time at Mount La Crosse and everyone is helpful to us as beginners. The atmosphere is amazing and the chalet and store, etc. are clean with a fun retro feel. Worth a trip to spend the day skiing.

Decent number of trails, 3 lifts- don't have to wait too long, rental equipment is decent. Lodge is small and most of the places to sit are taken by people placing their gear/bags under the tables/chairs. I would rate the trails as great and the lodge as fair at best.

so, Mt. La Crosse isn't Colorado or Vermont, but for an afternoon of family skiing and snowboarding, it certainly serves its purpose. the staff is pretty friendly and there's a nice variety of slopes. rental procedures were easy and fast, and we were on the hill in no time at all.

This pathetic excuse for a ski slope is not worth the rude staff. I hadn't been to Mount La Cosse in a long time but we were visiting family in the area. We had a friend from Colombia who had never been skiing before so I called 3 months ahead to ask about lessons. I was told that they have one hour group lessons at 10am every Saturday. I asked if we needed reservations and I was told no. When we arrived they refused to give us lessons until 5pm and said they didn't even offer group lessons at 10 am. I asked if someone could just quickly show them 10 minutes of ski basics or give them some tips and they refused. I asked if we could have a discount since they had given inaccurate information and they refused. I asked if they could give us a free lift ticket or ski rental as a courtesy and they refused. I asked for the owner’s information or an address where I could send a complaint letter and they refused.

I am a skier and I love it here! They have awesome hills and many different ones. If you are a snowboarder, there is a terrain park on one of the hills as well. 3 different lifts and family friendly!

Mt LaCrosse offers skiing and snowboarding. A small resort, it offers an average ski experience in an area where there are not a lot of ski resorts available.Rentals, lifts and concessions are available for fees. There is a ski shop and a restaurant area upstairs. lockers are available for a fee also. Sign up for emails to find special rates and activities, as well as reports on what trails are open for that week.

No biggie...just a nice little ski hill in western Wisconsin...fun for the kids. A good outing if you don't have anything better to do. Pretty views of the countryside.

I have been skiing here since I was a kid, and it is a decent ski hill for a town of this size. It has a good variety of runs from easy to difficult and has made some improvements over the years. They have a nice chalet with good rental selection. Also have always had a good ski-school program. Hill can be rather icy, but that's Wisconsin.
