This is old Hudson at its best. Great service. good beer. Their is always some nice special. Monday night pizza is our favorite. Can't beat the weekend breakfast with a good bloody mary either.

A family member recommended this bar for breakfast and it was super. Thing is we don't drink or go to bars but it had a restaurant included. The food was great and the service superb!! Price was average and if we are ever in that area again we will eat there.

I'd been to Dick's several years ago and don't remember it being as packed full of 20 somethings. There was a cover charge of $1 pp and loud music played by a DJ. We sat at the end of the bar, by the door, where staff were admitting (or denying) people. I have to say, I was impressed when they denied admission to a couple of intoxicated guys. They don't admit people that could cause trouble, which is a good thing in such a busy place. Dick's is probably THE place to go, if you're young, single, enjoy crowds and loud music, but not for us middle aged, more conservative types. That door of our lives was closed awhile ago, thankfully.

One of our favorite places for Happy Hour in Hudson. Good prices on drinks and taco bar every Friday night. They always have popcorn and the bartenders are always fun. They have live music on the weekends.

This is a typical bar, but with very good food, at a great price. The cheese curds are the white Ellsworth, WI curds that are battered, and absolutely yummy!!! Reasonable drink prices here as well.

We travel from Minnesota to Hudson WI to enjoy the great fish frys at Dicks. The service is always excellent, the portions are very plentiful and they also have local craft beers on tap.The bar is separate from the main dining room so its a good place to take the family.

Six of us went for burgers. We had a Ricky burger. We could just as well have gone to Wendy's dollar menu and been more satisfied. Don't plan a return visit!

Located close to the water in downtown Hudson, Dicks is probably the best bar in the city. The atmosphere is mostly college students and young adults, with the walls covered in beer and Packers decoration. There is often live music at night, but I have never been asked to pay a cover. The beer selection is fair, and includes Spotted Cow on draught. Good prices, and regular drink and food specials. The service has always been friendly. If you are young and looking for a good time in Hudson, this is the place to go, and it is worth a drive from the Eastern Twin Cities metro.
