paint-n-pottery

We have been going to Paint n Pottery for at least 6 years. My three sons are all teenagers now, and they STILL like to go there to paint. Why? Part of the reason is the owner - he creates a wonderfully relaxing and accomodating atmosphere. There was one time that my youngest son wasn't finished painting when the shop was closing. The owner told him not to worry, take your time, and stayed open for another half an hour to let him finish his project. Another time there was no one in the shop other than us and so he put on the kids' favorite radio station while they worked. The owner has an amazing amount of patience while working with kids - even when he is swamped. Going to Paint-n-Pottery has always been a positive experience for us.
