Took some time out to spend an hour here, amazing value for your money. Walked away with several bags of good quality veg and some honey I might add. The main attraction here is the organic veg, it's low cost compared to the large stores, honey, cheese and even ice cream, make this trip out both different compared to the daily run to the shops.

Once upon a time the Downtown Farmers Market was a wonderful place where you could find fresh food as well as locally produced products like bread, pastries, salsas and other food items. Recently the board has decided to allow only businesses that purchase 51% of the ingredients in their products from the food market to be able to participate beginning next year. This will greatly affect many local businesses and could result in several no longer being able to sell at the market. It could greatly reduce the fresh veggies and fruit available for the public to buy, instead sales being made to companies to make their products. It will likely increase prices for some to will try to abide by this new rule and have to increase prices to pay for more expensive local products. I will no longer make this a destination of mine.

One word describes this downtown gem : Fabulous! With tons of food vendors ranging from scrubbed fresh produce, to fresh herbs, tea, coffee, bread, fresh meats, fish, locally made salsas, egg rolls, etc. etc. etc. in addition, the flower arrangements available for purchase are hands down gorgeous. At $5 or a bit more per bunch, you can have a beautiful bouquet that will last until the next weeks market. In addition, there are local vendors selling handmade items. Today was a vendor with beautiful inlaid wood items, and a vendor with handmade jewelry. You can talk directly to the Artisans manning their booths. This market is a must-see!

This is a fantastic farmers market in a beautiful location. The focus is on locally grown produce, which always is plentiful and beautifully displayed. Vendors also selling meat, cheese, salsa, coffee, baked goods, etc. Plan to take the quick walk through Pheonix Park and crossing the pedestrian bridge for a great view of the river. The market is very busy Saturday mornings, less so on Wednesday and Thursday, though they still have lots of vendors come those days.

We always like to go to this farmers market when we're in town visiting family. It is a very clean, diverse and bustling market. The vendors are friendly and informative. It was cool when we were there but they have great coffee and a couple stands that sell fresh baked goods. Always seems to be some sort of entertainment when we've been there. It's next to the river and a beautiful scenic park.

Fresh, local fruits and vegetables in season. Meats and cheese. Baked goods. And, some of the most beautiful bouquets of flowers Northern Wisconsin can produce. This market, located at the beautiful Phoenix Park in downtown Eau Claire, is exactly what you want in a farmer's market . Clean and accessible, with friendly, helpful vendors, it's become a must whenever we're in or around Eau Claire on the weekend.Oh, stop by the cookie vendor. The Snickerdoodles are excellent!

Went to the international native American flute association conference and workshops at eau Claire campus, but had time to take a walk and enjoy the sights, smells and fresh raspberries .... Besides seeing fresh veggies, there were flowers, potted plants, honey, and fresh eggs.
