I drove an hour and a half from Minneapolis to this place and I loved it. I'm not sure if there was a tour but the gift shop was amazing. They had a wide variety of gifts along with many samples of their cheeses. And if there wasn't a sample out of a cheese that you wanted to try they were happy to give a sample to try. The staff was very pleasant. I would make the drive out there again. :)

A great cheese shop, and more! Clean. Friendly staff. A large variety and inventory of interesting cheese. Can sample a variety of cheeses. Delicious cheese curds! Fair prices. A place where locals shop. Gift shop is attached. This is a place we visit every time we are in the area.

This is a great little cheese shop that WI is known for all over, but this has a little bit more. They have a great gift shoppe! One of a kind things that you don't find just anywhere and all the great things of a great cheese factory too! Right on your way even if you are out for a Sunday drive. Don't forget the cheese curds! Squeeky (you curd lovers know exactly what I am talking about) Yummy!

Their parmesan has received a first place in the 2013 USA champion cheese contest and it is fantastic. However, and in my humble opinion, their private reserve parmesan is even better. We stopped while traveling through the area and were not disappointed. After we had made our cheese selection we rounded out our stop with ice creams and sat outside on a couple of chairs while watching the world go by.The parmesan was that good we may even have to travel the 4 hour round trip to get some more (but they do ship too). We visit regularly. Whenever we have visitors, we will take them by to purchase cheese or visit the gift shop. Everybody is very friendly, the place is always neat and clean. Plan to take a tour when you stop.

A local business associate told me about this place and it did not disappoint. Their private reserve Parmesan cheese was simply put.....outstanding. Fresh(still warm) cheese curds and a block of aged cheddar rounded out my purchases. The Parmesan was powerful and had a great texture.

The staff is vary warming and helpful. There is many diffrent samples of different cheeses to taste before you buy. The smoked string is a great snack to pickup. The prices are hard to beat compared to other shops.
