One of my favorite walks in the world starts at the ritz Carlton hotel in kapalua and passes dragon teeth, Oneola beach, Kapalua beach and ends at Napili beach. Amazing beaches and shorelines with waves pounding everywhere and interesting geography with sea cliffs and beaches. It's a long walk and could take quite a while if you stop at any of the beaches. I am always staying at the Kapalua resort and so there is always a free shuttle waiting to take my tired self back to my room. Even if you're not just hi,e a ride back to your car.

Great place to watch surfers (waves can be very large), or surf yourself! We have also seen Spinner Dolphins in the area.

This beach offers plenty to see in the way of fish marine life and turtles on either the left hand side or if you are willing to swim a little further out on the right. The right hand side had a bit of a current so best for those comfortable in the water. Choose your spot when entering the water to avoid the rocks/coral.

we had about a 2 hour swim in this bay and saw beautiful corals and tons of fish plus three or four turtles. It was slightly rough when we were there so it was not at its best but it was still really nice easy sandy entrance and a nice place to relax after the swim. PSM

Stopped here while walking the trail. The little bay is very protected, and the reef on the left side of the bay has a lot of pretty coral and fish. If you've never snorkeled before, or if you're intimidated by the open water, this is great place to view the fish and turtles.

Kapalua Beach was very serene and beautiful even though the weather was not great we really enjoyed seeing it!

It's a popular and busy beach. Lots of scuba divers and snorkelers here. I found it annoying to be there because I didn't bring my hair scrunchie and the wind blows like whoa. I like the beaches in Wailea better.

We visited this beach twice as it was a nice setting, had toilet and outside shower facilities and despite really rough surf was still reasonable snorkelling. The first time visibility was not that good and it was quite rough trying to exit the surf as there was quite a drop right next to the beach with a small rip however the second time we went a few days later the surf had settled down. We saw one resident turtle and due to the weather there were not many people in the surf. I imagine on a good day that there would be a lot more to see. Well worth a visit and the only issue is parking as there are very limited spaces. This beach is easy to find if you take the coast road that takes you through the Ritz Carlton complex along with a few other hotel complexes found along the road.

From our Golf Villa it was about à 10 minute wali. Its free to go on the beach. There are snorkal rentals and a shower. We snorkaled à few times. We saw lots of turtles and all kinds of fish. If you are staying nearby I would recomend going.

if you want to go paddle boarding or floating around this is the place for beginners. It's calm and beautiful! A bit rocky compared to Napili Bay but still amazing

Nothing nicer than watching sunset from Kapalua Beach. Tranquil bay perfect for swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing. Finish the day with a drink or dinner at Merrimans.

I prefer this bay for snorkeling to Napili just to the south. It's very easy to access just to the south. There's a small parking lot that's often full and parking along the main road. The beach is wide open and easy to get to. Best snorkeling is on the ends of the bay.

Very nice sheltered beach for snorkerling from high surf advisory warnings. We saw turtles on this beach. Great beach for beginner snorkelers and young children. It has showers to wash off sand and clean bathrooms. Good parking and can rent surf boards, kayaks and uptight paddle boards. Downside it is a small beach and gets crowded fast.

For those who don't like agitated waters / surf (my case!). Excellent for kids, snorkeling and watching the turtles early morning and late afternoon.

Small crescent white sand beach and a sheltered bay with a variety of coral. There's a small public parking lot and restrooms.
