We live close by and come here often. The Nature Center has a variety of different animals including owls, hawks, snakes, rabbits and turtles.My son even had a birthday party here. The staff was great. They allowed us to bring food to the venue and they entertained the kids with a show featuring some of the animals. Signage for the walking trails are clear and it is always enjoyable to take walks. Bring a camera because you can take some amazing pictures here!

A beautiful bit of woodlands close to KC. The nature center has a viewing room overlooking some bird feeders. The room has comfortable seating, large picture windows, and guide sheets to help identify the birds. My wife and I saw nine different birds species in about a 15 minute span of time.

I love to go here with my son. I have created a fantasy world around it. I tell my son stories about elephants, snakes, tigers in the park and how he is a super hero saving all animals in the park. It is just a piece of creativity around the beauty of the park; those animals are not really present there. The park is very natural and sometime it stimulates me to write poems. Nice trails for hiking.

Wonderful nature center with a wide variety of animals to see; turtles, snakes, birds. They also offer educational classes and demonstrations. The trails were spectacular. Varied from dirt to paved. Wonderful break from the rush of the city. My kids were able to play in the creek and climb through the woods, all within miles of downtown.

Ernie Miller Nature Center has beautiful scenery, and great trails. Super place to take the kids or go spend some time alone.

This is a very nice nature center to visit, especially with little ones. No admission to enter, but certain special programs cost a couple dollars per person. There is plenty to see inside and a lot geared towards the children. They offer bird watching from their garden, to books and easy activities as well as other small animals to observe. The walking trails are beautiful and some are easy to maneuver with little children & stroller. There are bathroom facilities and places where you can picnic. It is a nice way to spend the afternoon just admiring nature.

Very family friendly and a great nature center with animals. There are several different hikes you can take from long to short. Peaceful.

Nice park with many wooded trails on the west edge of Olathe, Kansas. They have a nature center with educational materials and displays. Great spot to get the kids out and walking. We have spotted wildlife throughout the park. Even deer on several occasions.
