After posing with the Santa Claus sign at the entrance to the park, drove through the park since we had time to kill.Plenty of space. I mean that in a good way, because some parks try to cram as much as they can, which hurts walking space, tent set up and of course, foul balls flying all over the place.Spacious parking, but not a fan of gravel. Hopefully just a work in progress.Liked the fact they offer a basketball court. Of the three main parks in my town, none of them offer a full basketball court like Jim Yellig.

This is our second trip to Jim Yellig Park for a girl's softball tourney. Easy parking. Plenty of shade picnic areas. One thing - not sure who runs the concessions for these tourneys, but breakfast items would be appreciated, as some games start early in the morning.

Yellig Park is a nice little getaway for a family with kids. There are walking trails, playsets, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a batting cage and multiple ball fields.Plenty to take advantage of!
