Take the kids! There is tons of fun things for kids to burn off some energy and learn a little bit without being aware of it.

Great to hear from you, somuchtraveled! For the benefit of those who don't know, WonderLab typically offers a special science program in December with a live reindeer and other Arctic animals. The "climbing opportunity" is a two-story climbing maze in the shape of a grapevine. We look forward to your next visit!

Many thanks, Debbie W, for sharing your opinion about WonderLab! We're happy we were able to serve your family so well and for so many years. Look forward to seeing you one day with great grandkids?

Thank you, Lorie D, for your review of WonderLab! The museum can get quite lively (and noisy) during holidays and school breaks. It appears that you may have visited at one of these times recently. Please remember that you can check our website homepage and Facebook page for "high visitation" alerts, which we post we can predict large numbers of visitors coming in scheduled groups. I also want to thank you for noting the quality of merchandise we offer in the WonderLab gift store. The gift store is right inside the museum's front entrance and is convenient for those who just wish to shop without visiting the whole museum.

Thank you, Charles S., for your positive review of WonderLab! It makes everyone here so happy when we hear that our efforts have met and even exceeded your expectations. You really nailed it when you said we "turn play into learning" because that is our purpose as a nonprofit educational organization. We are humbled that someone from California, where you have such outstanding hands-on science centers, took the time to comment.

Dear Kim C - Thank you for your enthusiastic and detailed review of WonderLab! Since you mentioned parking, I just want to make sure you are aware of the parking info available on our website at http://www.wonderlab.org/visit/parking/ Also, the city's parking meters are free on Sundays and on selected official city holidays. We hope you'll plan another trip here from Indianapolis to see the new exhibition "Big-Headed Ants," which would be a fascinating new experience for your kids.

Hi Stephanie M - Thank you so much for writing about the great time all of you had at WonderLab! We're always thrilled to hear about adults who are "young at heart" and having a blast here with the younger set. We look forward to your next visit!

We're glad to know that your grandsons enjoyed their visit to WonderLab, but sorry that we didn't meet your expectations during your visit. As a small museum, we post alerts on the homepage of our website and on our Facebook page when we expect large groups. However, we typically don't have large group visits in August, so we must assume you came on a day when many other families decided to visit, too. In future, please feel free to call WonderLab's visitor services (812-337-1337 ext. 25) before you come to see if the museum is crowded because of group visits or scheduled birthday parties, and also ask about half-price admission opportunities. If you give WonderLab another try, we'd like you to be as happy as your grandsons.

Dear Kasey W.,Thank you for taking the time to write about your visit to WonderLab. We're disappointed that we did not meet your expectations in general, but we're glad that the special exhibition, "Mirror Mysteries: Science of Reflection," was fun and educational for your family. Since you commented on the $7 general admission, I want to alert you to low-cost admission opportunities that WonderLab offers. These include half-price general admission during First Friday Evenings of each month, the annual Dollar Day, free Teen Nights, and half-price admission opportunities for other selected sponsored program days. WonderLab also participates in the Access Pass Program, which is an annual pass for eligible low-income Indiana families so that they receive $1 per family member admission per visit. We hope you will give WonderLab another chance and visit again in future.
