Downtown Wake Forest is a quaint little town with antique shops to explore. There are some beautifully preserved Victorian homes to drive around to see as well.

Several good restaurants, especially La Foresta and The Forks. Cotton company should not be missed. There are several street festivals throughout they year. A Farmer's market on Saturdays, and first Fridays of the month where the shops stay open late and have special sales. There's even a craft beer brewery/bar.

Downtown Wake Forest is a great place to visit. White Street is filled with many mom and pop stores to find that unique gift and fantastic customer service. There are also many art galleries and shops to find some artwork to buy or just admire the artists' skills. On Saturdays there is the Farmers' Market where you can buy locally grown or made items. There is a brewery and several restaurants to dine as well. You will find lots to do in downtown Wake Forest.

Most of "downtown" Wake Forest smells like someone peed on a burning tire. Go somewhere else and save your sense of smell.
