clayton community park

This community park is great. It has 3 large modern ball fields, tennis courts, volleyball court, several Picnic shelters/areas, Bocce Courts with shelter, 1/2 mile walking trail, nature signs, modern facilities. Seems to be a venue for several local or regional baseball tournaments throughout the summer, I say this because I can see the field lights from my backyard most spring/summer/fall nights. This park does lack soccer facilities. they are at Clayton's other park newer park the East Clayton Community Park. When visiting the Clayton Community Park, check out the picnic facilities under the big oak tree straight out from the left field foul pole on field number one, very nice but for an added treat go to the right down the walking path and you will find in the woods a beautiful little pond with a couple of picnic tables. Arrive early these are the ones you want!
