Something for everyone at reasonable prices. We live in the area and have been here twice over the last couple of years. We have purchased man things there. There are several other antique shops in the area (within 15 minutes).

The best thing about this shop is their friendliness towards dogs! And it is also HUGE. When you visit, plan to spend a hours, it will take you that long to get around the shop. They also offer carts that you can put your dogs in. Prices are great! And they have a huge variety of antiques and collectibles.

LOVE antiquing! My friend, our husbands and I went to Granddaddy's for the second time in a year while visiting Raliegh. They have great stuff ! It is a huge big box with numerous booths and display cases. Anyone into antiquing will get the idea. I found some of the booths to be a bit over priced but if you know vintage and antique items you can find some deals. They have everything from smalls to large and BEAUTIFUL victorian furniture. I can't wait to go back again next year!

My wife and I have visited over a hundred antique shops in the past year or so and this one rates at the top in our opinion. It's really big, well organized and has reasonable prices on most items but then again some items appear to be a little overpriced. Lot's of "stuff" to look at!!!! We'll definitely stop by again the next time we are traveling I 85 through Burlington.

There is so much to look at here, you need a couple hours. We ran out of time and only saw half the store. We still found a lot for our various collections. Cannot wait to go back. Even my 3 year old loved looking around. Appreciated the pet friendly rule. Would be even better if you could haggle or get a volume discount per booth, but for the variety, can't complain.

A large well lit and clean store. They have many vendors that offer many different things. If you look long enough you will find some treasure that you have to have. I have been a few times as I travel around NC. I will stop again.

A huge former Kmart filled with booths and booths of antiques. The only downside is that you can't haggle with the individual booth owners though the staff was helpful and offered 10% off items over $50.

This mall appears to be located in a deserted area but it is well worth a visit. Many dealers and if you have the time to look, you are sure to find a good buy. Well maintained and most dealers keep their items clean and well displayed.

I visited Granddaddys for the first time over the weekend and WOW!!! I got such great deals on everything I bought! They have everything from pyrex to old advertising signs to vintage clothing to 60's childhood toys. There is a great mix here...if you cant find something to buy you arent looking hard enough! If you are a collector then this mall is a must see. Ive never seen anything like it!

If you are on I-40 / I-85 and see a sign for Burlington, NC or Grandaddy's Antique Mall you have to stop if you have the time (look for exit 145 in Burlington). Well, if you enjoy looking at and buying antiques (anything from shabby chic, finer antiques, or the strange) that is. The place is huge. It used to be a K-Mart and is the largest antique mall in the south. There are over 230 booths and over 84,000 sq. ft. They are also pet friendly so don't even think of leaving your pet in a hot car while you look for treasures. They have trouble keeping it cool in the summer so you may get overheated (but they do offer free cold bottled water). Several of the booths are really over priced but if you keep looking you will usually find the same object in another booth with a much better price. We bought something once that was $95 in one booth and a few rows over we found it for $45 (and it was actually in better condition). I've posted some pictures to give you an idea of the different types of things you can find there.

Having visited antique malls and consignment shops all over the State of North Carolina, parts of Georgia and Florida, I must say Granddaddy's is ONE OF THE BEST. Traveling to antique malls, doesn't often give you the opportunity for a repeat visit. I was fortunate to be within 50 miles and made a side trip to Grandaddy's. There is a wide selection over numerous booths, the prices range from cheap to "are you serious" but the dealers set their own prices. I love that they have layaway, even though I did not use it. The staff are helpful and friendly. If you don't find something in Granddaddy's, you weren't looking.

Oh....my....goodness...this is THE BEST Antique Mall EVER! It absolutely SPRAWLS across Burlington with maybe as many as a thousand booths. No way I could count them all. I saw stuff here I have NEVER seen before and never seen after. They had an amazing array of items with EXCELLENT prices. I had two shopping carts FULL of stuff when I left with less than I ever expected to spend. They have bathrooms conveniently located. They have wireless. They have a food court! They are super great! If I lived nearer, I would be broke simply because I couldn't stay out of the place! You HAVE to SEE this!
