Booked a 3/4 day with Captain Mick. Weather was awful very rough seas. Not the Captain's fault but he knew about the rough seas and the two storm fronts offshore and never mentioned it. Wanted our party to cancel so he could keep the deposit but wouldn't tell us about the storm fronts. Put the boat on autopilot and fell asleep going out and would not steer to make the ride more comfortable. Booked bottom fishing only and Captain insisted on trolling. Got upset when we wanted to bottom fish. Let us bottom fish for 30 minutes and said the water was too rough and took us back to 5 miles out and started "shark" fishing for two hours! Never got a bite. Only two people allowed to fish even though when we booked we asked if the boat could accommodate 6 people. Finally figured out that all he wanted was too ride us around for the 3/4 day to get his money. Every time the boat stopped the Captain would put his feet up and go to sleep. Oh but when we said we wanted to go back he put it in high gear. Then had the nerve to charge us full price!!! I have had bad deep sea fishing trips due to fish not biting and rough weather but never have I been on a trip with such an awful Captain. Beware he is doing nothing but giving the allusion of a charter fishing boat. The name of the charter is North Myrtle Beach Fishing Charters out of Cricket Cove Marina and it is a tourist trap!!!

Booked a half/day sail with Capt. Jason...went out the Intercoastal Waterway into the Atlantic and had a great day...he even let us sail for a short bit...good time, worth the money...best bang for your buck. You can't go wrong with a good day on a sailboat!!!

We found Cricket Cove 4 years ago when looking for a retirement home. It absolutely cannot be beat. Great secure storage inside and even greater service. The entire staff from Bill and Dede to all the dock guys couldn't be more helpful. We live in NC but choose to keep our boat in SC because of Cricket Cove. It's the best and even has a great restaurant!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They all really try to make sure the boat owner feels the boat is well taken care of and that the staff cares about one having a great boating experience. The storage is secure and they take good care of your boat.

Stay was 8-9 August 2013 at the Holiday Inn Express over looking this marina. I believe there is only one is this area and I have this correct. It is a nice little quiet place and beautiful. It is slightly above the North Myrtle Beach area and in a safe area. I took a walk around the marina pier/boardwalk area from the hotel to the light house. The people I encountered on my walk were friendly to include the cute little girl in the polka-dot dress. Some people were on the balconies of the homes and others relaxing with friends or family on the boats. The marina has many lights and is camera monitored. There is a nice restraurant I believe named Clark's and it seem to have a crowd the day of our arrival. I believe it had a little shop attached to it. The outdoor seating sit over the marina. I can see why the boaters rated it high and recommend this place. Very nice marina coming from someone without a boat. Smile.

We recently purchased a boat & decided to dry rack it at Cricket. We've been boaters forever & belonged to many marinas & also visited many (in NJ & MD). They ALL need to take lessons from Cricket! Employees are so pleasant & can't do enough for you. A wise decision for us!

Wow! We happened upon this little gem of a marina. The service was fantastic! Brad was so very helpful, attending to all our needs. Everything from helping us dock in the pouring rain, to picking up our laundry. Another staff member, Chris, even took us to the local grocery store to re-provision. We will put this marina down as a must stop here again on future trips. Highly recommend to boats of any size!Different Drummer 2

I keep my boat here and they are wonderful. I had them clean my boat and they did a fantastic job. I am keeping my boat in the dry storage and one phone call gets my boat in the water. They have a great restaurant and the view is fabulous. Cricket Cove Marina is at ICW Mile Marker 345.GPS Readings;Latitude 33°, 86', 39"Longitude -78°, 62', 07"

The staff is helpful and the slips are well kept. Plenty of water under the bow even at low tide. I especially like the fact that they have two slips designated as "Restaurant Parking" so that you can tie up and go in to Snookies for a bite to eat.

Friendly staff, quick service. They do a great jog of accomodating all of our boating needs. I have kept my boat there for nearly 1 1/2 years and have yet to have them fall short of expectations. Everytime I have had special requests they have delivered.

Billy and his crew do a great job getting you and your boat in and out of the water. Always friendly and helpful.

Located on the intracoastal waterway, in Little River, SC, they offer dockage by the day, week, month, or long term. We needed to rent a place to store a trailer short term and they treated us as good as a long term patron! I hear that the on site restaurant is good as well, but haven't tried it yet. ( snookies). It is also clean, well run and organized.

Rented a charter to go out fishing. The weather was beautiful but a little windy and it made for a bumpy day. Capt Billy made us lighten up and enjoy ourselves. Caught a ton of fish: Sea Bass, Cobia, Amber Jack and a huge Barracuda. Great day - forgot all about the wind. Highly recommend the "Reel Hot". We watched other boats around us reel in 1 fish to our 5. This captain knows his stuff!

The sport fishing out of Crickett Cove Marina at Little River is outstanding on the "Lucky Strike"!!! Be sure and ask for Tom....he knows what he's doing.
