With wraparound views of EVERYWHERE, make this one of your stops. There is no bad time of day for the view, although sunset does get busier.

The views of the surrounding area is undeniable. On a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier and as far as the eye can see. If you decide to eat at the top of the needle at the restaurant, it is very nice but also very pricey. Allow extra time in the summer at wait times can quite lengthy.

This was a great way to see 360 degrees of Seattle and surrounding water ways. No clouds in the sky today, could see for miles.

If you don't feel like waiting 1-2 hours for the space needle, this place is definitely a great alternative. No lines, reasonably priced for an incredible view on a clear day. Was more than enough for us!Thanks for the experience.

I took my daughter to Seattle to celebrate her birthday. One of her favorite experiences was going up to the top of the Space Needle to see the city and Puget Sound from high above. We lucked out with amazing weather! There was not a cloud in the sky. From the high perch we could see forever--the Olympic mountain range, Lake Union, downtown, Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound. We booked our tickets online and arrived early but were accommodated with no problems (fortunately it wasn't very busy). The ride up to the top was quick and easy and once on the observation deck we could walk around to see the full views in all directions. We spent about 20 minutes up top before descending to the gift shop on the ground level. The experience was both enjoyable and painless. If you're in Seattle, this is a quick experience that you will remember for a long time. Be sure and avoid the long lines to buy tickets on site--go online and book ahead of time!

It's an amazing view of Seattle. You can see all of the city and the mountains in the background. They take free pictures of you with the view in the background. It's one of my favorite memories.

We purchased a Groupon deal prior to going to Seattle. The building is considered the tallest in Washington with the Space Needle now the 3rd tallest. The building consists of 75 floors but the sky view is on the 73rd floor. It’s only worth the trip up on a clear day or night otherwise it’s a waste of money. If you know someone that works in the building, you can enter for free as employees within the building has free access and are able to bring guests. The observatory is one large room with almost a 360 view by walking around the room. We were able to take some great shots of Seattle and surroundings that we otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity to see. Once entering in, there is unlimited in and out access with a stamp on the hand. We visited the world’s tallest Starbucks on the 40th floor, purchased some drinks and went back to the sky view to hang out. Don’t discount the parking situation. It’s metered parking up to 2 hours for $8 or garage parking. Besides the admission price there’s also the parking cost to consider.

Panoramic views a quick walk from our hotel on First Hill. You can't get any higher than this--you get to look down on the needle. Great photo ops. A little pricey ($12.50), but you can't beat the views, and the cafe offers good, reasonably priced food. I'd like to come back at sunset.

It was a beautiful, sunny day on the 76th floor and the views were absolutely breathtaking!! I know there are a lot of great things to do and see in Seattle but do take an hour to see our beautiful city from high above. You won't be disappointed. If you're downtown just walk (because parking may be a problem and expensive) 4-5 blocks down 5th Avenue and you're there. There is a place to get snacks or a light lunch right there and there are places to sit and be amazed! We paid the senior rate which is $8.00 so figure a little more for a regular adult rate, but it's so worth it. We live an hour south of Seattle and visit often but this was our first time at the Columbia Center Sky View and now we can't wait to take our granddaughters.

A little pricey for a family but the views are beautiful. Off season was a bonus. There is a cafe at the top but it's basic. Stay as long as you want, sip a coffee and read the history, use the interactive screens and walk outside.

This is a must-do thing in Seattle. As the city is not huge, it is really nice to observe the city during the day and at night from the observatory. There is also a restaurant if you would like to dine in. Best of all, add your name into the list of visitors here, and trace your name and location and how far you have traveled to visit it!

You will never see a better view of Seattle. Built for the 1962 World's Fair, this iconic building offers spectacular views any time of the day or night.
