Whitman College has some beautiful buildings on campus. We attended a debate tournament that our son participated in along with many other students. The location is a favorite stop on the debate tour.

Parklike setting, great, happy students. This was our 4th time to the campus, and we still can't believe what a beautiful setting it has. Students seem very engaged, and enthusiastic.

Have yet to find someone who does not love their experience as a student here. If you're visiting your kid/student/friend, have him take you to Prentiss for the weekend brunch. It's better than restaurant quality...much of it locally sourced; prepared in front of you.

This is one of the best liberal arts colleges in the country. They welcome visitors and are very cordial to all. The facilities are new, and one of the best local venues for art, music and theater. The students are also very nice and welcome strangers. An overall lovely experience. Don't' it's the beautiful library and its fireplace reading room.

Located in downtown Walla Walla, this wonderful undergraduate college, founded in 1883, has a campus that is well worth a visit. One of the top ranked Liberal Arts Colleges in the nation, Whitman's sprawling campus has wide open spaces with plenty of public art installations and various sites to visit. The Sheehan Gallery is located in Olin Hall and is generally open from 12-5. It houses the Davis Collection of Asian Art, and also shows other exhibitions throughout the year. There is also a Japanese tea room here. Also on campus is the Reid Student Center with a college bookshop that sells Whitman branded merchandise and Cafe 66. The Walla Walla symphony plays at Cordiner Hall on campus. You can also visit the Penrose library or watch various sporting events that occur throughout the year.
