I was really nice walking along the Centennial Trail now that daylight savings has kicked in. So nice with the river right next to you. I might need to bring a bike next time to see more of the trail?

We have bikers of all ability levels in our family, and this is an ideal place to go and pedal around. People are always courteous, and we feel perfectly safe letting the kids go at their own pace (within reason).

There are so many places to get on to start your adventure. I have been walking the trail for months and keep finding new sections with different views to enjoy. Nicely paved and wide enough to pass others.

When the weather permits, we senior citizens enjoy biking and or hiking along parts of the Centennial Trail

The trail runs west of downtown and goes all the way to Idaho. It is well kept and is great for all types of recreation.

This is a beautiful trail and is a very easy walk as it is completely paved. The trail meanders along the Spokane River and is absolutely amazing. Beware, though, to not leave any valuables in your car as there are frequent break-ins at the trail head parking lots. We usually park downtown and pick up the trail at RIverfront Park. Purses and other valuables are left at home.

This is a great trail, right along Spokane River, with its falls, & right next to downtown, & with university district at the east end.

This paved trail extends from downtown Spokane to Coeur d'Alene and is kept in excellent condition. There are exit points all along the trail when one can stop off for something to eat or drink.

We love it! I love to ride my bike on it. Also we love walking on it too! What a great idea! Every city should have a Centennial Trail.

This 30-mile long trail follows the Spokane River and allows for hours of walking and biking deep into some of the most beautiful riverside scenery located in the Inland NW. If you'd like to watch the River in different light, times or day or locations, this is one of the best ways to observe the river in all its beauty. It's also a nice way to observe much of downtown Spokane, Post Falls and into CdA. You also can view the Gonzaga campus, riverside condos and luxury living. Things are always better outside!

Without a doubt, this is a great urban trail. It stretches from Coeur D'Alene to Nine Mile Falls, and passes through several beautiful parks along the way.

This trail goes travels east-west through pretty much all of spokane and even into Idaho all the way to Coeur d' Alene and along the Coeur d' Alene river. Because it is so large, there are parts of the trail that are more scenic than others. However, the entire trail is well kept and has great views, many of which are along the Spokane River. If you are looking for a nice walk or bike ride I highly suggest using this trail. A word of warning though - some parking lots for this trail have been known to have many car robberies. It has been my experience that when there are no valuables in sight we were fine. The one time I did leave my purse in the car, the window was smashed and it was taken. So, either park in a parking lot with a lot of traffic, or don't leave ANYTHING in your car.

This is a wonderful trail that follows the river for more miles then you can walk in a day. You will love this free accessible trail. Love it.

I feel so fortunate to live in a city with such a great bike trail. It winds along the Spokane River in the Spokane Valley and is beautiful and scenic. My favorite stretch runs between Argonne Road and Harvard Rd.

The wide paved Centennial Trail is a fantastic trail to walk or bike. Its length is long enough that on many portions you will likely see only a few (or no) other people. It is usually a clean trail with great views all along the way. Of note however, DO NOT leave valuables visible in your car at trailheads, since break-ins can be frequent. I never experienced it when I lived in Spokane, but I have seen evidence (broken glass) and read law enforcement reports. Plus you will need a Washington State Discover Pass to park in the lots located within Riverside State Park. The Centennial Trail is one of the highlights of Spokane and Coeur d' Alene.
