Baseball at Cheney Stadium is family oriented and full of fun. Kids have access to the players near the dugout and it's an exciting time for everyone. Adult beverages offer the grown ups an opportunity to relax and enjoy the game.

Catch a AAA Baseball game at Cheney stadium when the weather is nice, the tickest are very affordable ($10!) and there isn't a bad seat in the place! Excellent handicap access too ( I brought a group of seniors there a couple years ago). It's professional baseball with a definite small-town feel!

Cheney is more than a baseball stadium. It had rotating events like the food truck wars, fireworks and more. Centrally located and very family oriented.

As much as I love my Mariners and Safeco Field, this is a great alternative if you live in the south-end or want a more cozy baseball experience. You are watching mostly the same guys you have been watching play for the M's but on a smaller scale.

I prefer watching a baseball game at Cheney Stadium because this is the closest I can get to sitting in the bleachers behind Rainier Brewery watching the Rainiers play. Downtown Seattle's upscale park is too expensive and not nearly as much fun. I like being closer to the field and appreciate the numerous food and drink options. Love this place!

Gets better each year, even after a major makeover a few years ago. Good views from every seat. Intimate, yet professional. Great group seating/party areas. Plus hotdogs at still-reasonable prices! And now that the Seattle Mariners are becoming competitive, you will be seeing some potential major league super-stars come through on their way to the major leagues (Tacoma is the AAA affiliate of the Mariners). Affordable, comfortable, good entertainment. I do wish they'd add some bigger/better outdoor grilling for steaks and handmade burgers, though.

Cheney Stadium and the Tacoma Rainiers are a wonderful way to spend an evening or a weekend game day. The ballpark is truly remarkable with a number of different seating options and not a bad seat in the house. Season tickets in the Summit Club are a preferred option. The food is great and the atmosphere is truly Baseball at it's finest. For a special treat, find Chester, who is generally working in the Dugout Club. He is a wealth of baseball knowledge and trivia and one of the best reasons to visit the ball park,

This is a great Stadium for Triple A baseball. Depends on what is happen with the Mariners this is a nice way to see some of the guys who are on the way up or come down to rehab. Very low price and very friendly place. You can see the game no matter what your doing or where you are sitting. The only down fall would be if it rain no all the seats are covered but all and all the place is great for a group or family.

Wanted to take my grandson to a ball game. The Rainiers were a great alternative. Mariners tickets are pretty pricey (60-70$) For 14$ each we got tickets 12 rows up from first base. (later in the game we moved right down to the dugout) Product on the field was great. 4 or 5 2014 Mariners were playing that night. (they were on injury rehab) Food was a little lacking compared to the big boys but I guess that's to be expected. (food was ok, but not a lot of choice) Parking was easy, getting out was easy, We were staying in Lacey, so it was an easy alternative to the Mariners.

Love Cheney Stadium and the Rainiers -- The Little Caesar Deal is fantastic for a family of 4, they also have kids run the bases nights and the Friday night fireworks that are not to be missed! My family loves going to watch a good baseball game and I love the atmosphere here -- many loyal fans, and very family friendly -- and a great value! Have seen many Mariners play here over the years....Food is standard ballpark food but prices are lower than the bigger stadiums and they do offer special game nights where dinner is included with ticket or Thursday dollar days etc....Oh, and you have to love Rhubarb -- the Rainier's Reindeer Mascot -- My kids love seeing him and being a small stadium they actually have the chance to meet him up-close. Can't go wrong with a day at the ballpark! Season runs April to Sept.

While on vacation this was one of our favorite stops. We love baseball and try to go to as many stadiums as possible. I knew this was an older one, but was very impressed with the upgrades. Stadium was located right off Highway 16 and easy to get to. We sat right behind home plate and the ticket was only $7.00. There was plenty to do and the food was great. I would recommend seeing a game here if you are a baseball fan or not.

We went to see the Rainiers play. The stadium is great! The atmosphere is very family friendly. Being from MO and only cheering the Cards! It was really a fun family night at the ball park! The stadium is pretty great for a minor league team. Everyone was friendly and fun to be around. The Rainers lost but it was a great night and they had fireworks at the end!!

Cheney Stadium had a face lift a few years ago and this was our first trip since then. Really big improvement to the stadium! Gone are the bench seats in the upper deck! Now there are proper seats everywhere, plus new club seating and box seating. There are also several patios and party decks as well as a general seating grassy area. This is a great place to watch ball because there isn't a bad seat in the house. We sat in the upper deck for only $15 per person and had an excellent view of the game. Concessions are reasonably priced for the type of venue as well. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went and purchased tickets to another game before leaving!

Updated stadium is great. This year they added a left field section with a terrific field view and a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier. Lots of food choices. AAA baseball is a relaxing and intimate baseball experience.
