Loved the patio outside on the beautiful sunny day we had! Enjoyed the service while we tried a few different wines, very knowledgable staff!

Wines were phenomenal and the building is ultra modern. If you like Cabs and Merlots, they've got a couple that will light up your taste buds!

Nice wines, Great tasting room. The wines were above average. The young women behind the bar were very informative, and seemed to know their product. They also serve lunch. We did not eat and regretted it. The pizzas we saw looked and smelled delicious. We intend to eat lunch/snacks during our next visit.

Novelty Hill Januik winery is our favorite stop in Woodinville. We love to sit by the fireplace and enjoy a tasting or play bocce on a summer day. Nothing beats the woodfired pizza and wine. We joined the wine club a few years ago and have loved every bottle. A definite favorite for the wine, food and atmosphere!

This is a very nice winery and you actually watch them make it. Very friendly staff. Wishes are well priced and taste good. We went on Sunday and the pizza kitchen was open. Great pizza to go with wine. A 12" pizza is 14 dollars. Very clean and modern building. I would go again.

This is a large winery on one of the main roads through Woodinville and one shouldn't miss it. You enter into a large tasting room which allows everyone to enjoy themselves without crowding. On Saturdays they have wood fired pizza available and lots of people simply came for pizza and a glass of wine. I was on a tasting mission though. For $10 I got to sample four varieties and had an ample sampling pour for each. The staff had lots of information and everyone was very helpful. I purchased a half case that I thought that I would send home but later found out I couldn't so I returned to the winery and they handled everything. No grounds to enjoy, but you can see the large holding vats and while I was there I was able to watch them load and crush the grapes. I was also able to taste some chardonnay grapes. The restrooms are clean and well marked which is great when one is going from tasting room to tasting room. This is a good stop on your wine tasting tour!

Too bad it was a rainy day otherwise we would have sat outside. Did the tasting @ $10 per person-- reds and whites. Decent wines.

The wine here is delicious, and there are two wineries here giving you plenty of options to choose form, the facility is very new and modern and on weekends there is food you can order from the kitchen. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and huge windows allow you to look into the cellar and barrel rooms. A must-go-to stop when making the wine tasting rounds in the area.

Went with a girlfriend for wine tasting on a recent sunny afternoon, and had a delightful time. Januik has a beautiful, chic, modern tasting room that still feels warm and inviting. The staff at the tasting bar was lighthearted and fun, while also very knowledgable about their wine. We tasted four wines for $10, with generous pours of each. Far and away the best wine I tasted that day. Would love to go back to try some of the other wines and the great looking flatbreads.

Novelty Hill-Januik was our first stop on a private wine tour (arranged by Seattle Wine Tours). Cathy was the perfect hostess and poured a great glass of wine! The space and grounds are beautiful. And it was very neat to be able to see into the barrel room and production facilities. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow for much exploration of the grounds. I would recommend a stop!

Great tasting experience - the least expensive on the tour and by far the best wimes. The ladies pouring the wine were very friendly and knowledgeable about what we were tasting. We will be shipping more of this wine to our house!

We tasted four great wines, plus a bonus pour for $10.00. The flat bread pizza was delicious. Rick, our server was entertaining and informative. He explained how best to taste wine and we learned a lot about Januik wines and wines in general from him. Wound up buying a case and a half of wine that we look forward to enjoying. This is a "must see" if you are in Seattle.

We hit 6 wineries on a self tour in Woodinville. Best wine/best winery. For $10 (std fee at most wineries), you can taste $45-70 wines v. $20 wines at Ch Ste Michelle....you pick. NO one else does this--at least for walk up tasting bar in a nice setting. The winery is very modern--taste at the tasting bar or go outside to a nice patio. They offer great pizzas. Oh, and the wines are great. I don't recall if they offer a tasting fee rebate on purchases. We didn't buy any wine (bc we can buy it at home--although their prices are same as retail).

Mike Januik has been making great Washington wines before some of the other youngster winemakers were even born. He makes wines for Januik and Novelty Hill. The winery and tasting room are very modern and the tasting room staff is friendly and efficient. They do a good job explaining all of the wines. The also serve pizza Friday through Sunday that are excellent. During the summer I love sitting outside enjoying some wine and pizza. Great stop after biking around Woodinville. The wines are fairly priced for Woodinville.

We came across the Novelty Hill-Januik Winery after a quick look into Colombia & Chateau Michelle (the big names, but wines you see everywhere). What a treat ! The tasting was perfect, and at $7 a wee bit less pricy than some we have been to. The lady who helped us very knowledgeable, she really knew her stuff. Washington wines are expensive ... you just can't get around it ! But the Sauvingnon Blanc & Sangiovese we cam home with were worth it - both excellent. It is worth stopping by for all the above reasons but also because the architecture - to coin a phrase - is very cool ! Uber-modern within a very bucolic, pastoral setting. Nice.
