Friends and I were driving around, trying different wineries and just being touristy. Our driver had read about this winery, so we decided to try it out. It was lovely! The tasting was $5, with a dollar off every bottle you buy. (I think that was the deal). For $5, you get 6 tastes, and a lot of information about the wine. We were also give cheese and crackers and some chocolate to go with the pinot noir. The grounds were beautiful, and I would love to go back during the summer when it is warm and sunny. The winery also has two very friendly dogs, so if you are not a dog person this might not be the best place for you. The dogs are awesome though. The winery sells wine, but also a menagerie of fun things. I recommend anyone who enjoys wine to visit this place.

Yes, we chose this winery because we are dog lovers as well. Had an enjoyable time doing the wine tasting and visiting with the owners. Would recommend a stop in. Bought a couple bottles, not too expensive. And yes, they have two dogs :o)

There were so many wineries on Whidbey Island that we had a hard time selecting one to visit. We chose this one because we are dog lovers.... It was a great choice. The farm is lovely and there was a spoiled dog to greet us! The ladies at the winery were friendly and we enjoyed meeting them very much. The wine tasting was reasonably priced and the wines were good! Not to mention how sporty the new t-shirt and hat are that we got!!This is a great place to visit and enjoy some wine and conversation.

My husband and I stopped here when we got to Whidbey Island. The farm is adorable and very will kept. We each tasted 5 wines which cost us $5 each. The tasting room is the same spot they make the wine, so you can see the barrels and tanks. I like that they are a boutique winery and make small quantities right there. The farmer also helped us decide where else we would go on the island, he was very friendly.

Super selection of wines, and very friendly staff. We always go to them for our wine selections. But especially love to take our guests there to show them what great wines we have on Whidbey!

We never visit Whidbey Island without stopping at The Spoiled Dog Winery. The wines are excellent, the people couldn't be nicer or more welcoming, and the location, including the drive through the woods, is picturesque. Don't miss it, if you enjoy wine!

My friends took me on a mini wine tasting tour and we visited five wineries. Spoiled Dog Winery was one of my two favorites and is a "must visit" for wine...and dog lovers. As mentioned by other reviewers, we were greated by the "spoiled dogs" and led straight to the tasting room. The tasting room was crowded compared to others we had visited that day and I'm happy to report that the staff was very attentive making sure that we did not feel rushed to make room for others. I prefer red wine and their's didn't disappoint. I enjoyed that they provided chocolate along with the tastings. I left with 1/2 case - 3 bottles of Malbec and 3 bottles of Deception. It's worth the trip!

Visited the Spoiled Dog Winery on a recent day trip to Whidbey Island, and had a great experience. We were greeted immediately at our car by one of the winery dogs -- almost as though they'd been trained to do so! Wonderful choice of 5 wines to taste. Each was delicious. The staff even allowed me an additional taste of a yet-to-be-released Pinot Noir. Took several bottles of their wines home with me. Absolutely delightful atmosphere. Appealing space, nice grounds, friendly folks. Can't wait to go back!

We love visiting this spot to pick up our wines, talk with the winemaker, and pet the dogs. Everyone is so kind and genuine. We are looking forward to attending our first dinner there this July.

While this winery has won many awards they still hold true to their local values and mentalities. The wine is incredible I've been to many winery's where you like maybe one or two of the wines but here I truly liked them all! The Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir are fantastic. This is an experience and a beautiful scenery for a wine tasting. They make sure you are well taken care of and understand how these wines came to be. Not only that but also they take their time to allow you to try with a mix of chocolate and cheeses! You won't regret this stop at all, plus there are two adorable "spoiled dogs" what's not to like? Highly recommended! You won't regret it, a perfect addiction to a perfect day on an already perfect Whidbey Island!

We're fortunate to be staying on Whidbey for 2 weeks, & visited the Spoiled Dog after a lovely afternoon at the Saturday Bayview Farmer's Market (definitely recommended, too). What an unexpected delight! First, we were greet by adorable Sam (a mixed Collie?), & then walked to the tasting room where Michaela (a lovely & quite wine knowledgeable young woman), took her time & talked my husband & I through our sampling of the winery's 6 wines/tasting for $5--an excellent deal. We especially enjoyed their rose, which reminded us of those we drank in Provence, & were surprised at how much we also liked their apple/pear wine, which was not only distinctively fruity, but refreshing & not sweet @ all--a lovely summer wine. Their Chianti-style wine, made of Sangeniovese grapes was also quite good, as was the Pinot Noir, which has won awards. Since we were looking for summer wines, so the 2 we bought the rose & apple pear wine, which are really great summer wines. I also bought adorable winery t-shirt (designed for women w/a v-neck, instead of the usual men's round neck (they had them for men, too--of course), & my husband purchased a very cool Spoiled Dog Winery hat in a gorgeous color blue. So, delightful, well worth-it visit, adorable dogs, knowledgeable wine staff, excellent wines and other interesting merchandise--1 of the highlights of our vacation, and well worth the visit.

The address in Trip Advisor for Spoiled Dog Winery will take you to Bloom's Tasting Room. Spoiled Dog moved to 5881 Maxwelton Road in Langley a couple of years ago. If you can find the right location, it's worth the trip: good wine, nice people, very scenic setting.

The owners/wine makers run the tasting room. We tasted all of their wines and bought 2 bottles to bring home. Nice Couple.
