My friend and I (with our dog, Harper) made our second visit from Canada to Blooms to watch the Super Bowl on their big screen TV. Although disappointed with the historic ending of the game, the hospitality of Ken and Virginia once again made us feel like we were among friends. The wine was excellent and we enjoyed a variety of small plates. Harper, our Seahawks 12th Dog, was welcomed with open arms.We will be back next year...and hopefully the Hawks will as well.

Blooms has a pleasant tasting room with small tables set up to taste or enjoy a glass of wine. They also have live music on Sundays.

Ken & Virginia are so nice! I stopped to pick up my B&B room key, and did some wine tasting, and they invited me back for a music event at 5, which was just great. A must stop!

When we come to Whidbey Island, I usually try to do at least one wine tasting per day, and Blooms is a favorite. Ken, the owner, is a really nice guy and makes some good wine. He's also a good resource for restaurant recommendations and other advice to improve your stay. Blooms tasting room is located in a little general store type area with some other shops and a restaurant. It's close to Freeland and Langley. Highly recommend a stop there!

We enjoyed a wine tasting after our hike at Ebey's Landing. Stephanie was wonderful, sharing stories about the winery, wines and the Island too. We fell in love with the Malbec :)

My friend and visited Blooms after running the dog at Double Bluff State Park. We stopped for a bit of wine-tasting and a snack. We were very impressed with the selection of wines, which paired nicely with a selection of local cheese. We enjoyed the conversation with the owner, who was wonderfully accomodating to our Lab and friendly beyond what we had experienced in some of the uptight wine-tasting establishments in Langley.I highly recommend a stop at Blooms to sample and purchase their wonderful wines.
