At Fort Casey. Accessible, well kept and well informed staff to show you and let you walk up the lighthouse.

Lighthouse 'lighthouse' newly replaced. Great views of Admiralty Inlet and passing ships & ferries. Part of Fort Casey - best in the summer.

Please come and see it. The lighthouse is one of a kind, view and all. The history of the light and the park that it is in was talked about so well by the docents there.

I approached the Admiralty Head Lighthouse near sundown. I was amazed with the light shining through the windows and white paint and the Red Spanish Tiled Roof and Architecture. The lighthouse is fantastic and being constructed right next to the lighthouse keeper's cottage makes for one great package. I couldn't stop seeing amazing photo opportunities here. They give tours of the lighthouse during banker's hours, which sounds fun for next time. From the lighthouse are great views of the Salish Sea and the surrounding gnarled trees and Historic Fort Casey.

Overlooking the beautiful Admiralty Inlet, and near Fort Casey State Park on the west side of northern Whidbey Island, this well-preserved lighthouse is well worth a stop. Docents are terrific storytellers. Bring a picnic lunch, because you'll want to linger a long time here.
