A day trip for us to Westport Washington. I had to see this lighthouse. The guides told the story of the lighthouse in a fun way. You were not rushed. Well worth stopping to see. Thank you to the 3 people on duty February 28th

The guides were super friendly and full of information! We really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere in seeing this amazing lighthouse.

Great place to visit while at Westport. The lighthouse is one of the tallest on the west coast and you get to walk up the stairs to the very top where they give you a tour and speech on the history of the lighthouse and the impressive lens used for the lighting.

This lighthouse is so well maintained. The volunteers from the lighthouse association give tons of fascinating information and clearly love what they do. I was a little worried about climbing to the top with my elderly dad and a member of our party with artificial hips. Both made it to the top-no problem. Put this attraction on your list.

Going up the light house was fun but the people running it were kind of rude and just pushed us threw it... We kinda felt like we needed to hurry and get out... Not the best experience...

Tallest lighthouse in Washington and the third tallest on the West Coast. You can tour the lighthouse but we got there after hours. A guide was still there and nice enough to talk to us about the area. Construction began in 1897 and lit a year later. Sadly in 1992, the original third order Fresnel lens was turned off but they are still in the lantern room. The lighthouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

The Grays Harbor Lighthouse is stunning and filled with history. It used to be near ocean's edge, but now it stands streets back. Sand has filled in. Interesting place to be.

Loved it as I'm a lighthouse fan. Very close to the b and b and great price for admission. Must do is climbing inside all the way to the top.

This lighthouse, the largest in the state of Washington, has amazing views from the top for only $5. The volunteers who run it are very knowledgable and super friendly. Would definitely recommend paying a visit if nearby.

Enlightening experience! Obtain maps @ Tourist info bureaus for each state's Lighthouses. This trip we saw all except Cape Flattery- Washington. Majestic, historic & full of stories. Many are being refurbished such as the most photographed one in Oregon. It even has Quarters as vacation rentals! So many interesting drives ,beaches & sights along the coast to the next lighthouse. ENJOY We sure did~~Fees are to park in state parks for the day or week or year. ALL very affordable & if you rent a campsite the parking fee is included!!

This lighthouse has an interesting story. It used to be at the ocean and is now 1/4 mile inland. The sand from Oregon we were told is washing away and being deposited on this part of the Washington coast.

The trip up the stairs is worth the walk and the grounds were basic and lovely. They have a helpful and charming volunteer during most hours and a basic gift ship that supports the lighthouse.

This is a very old lighthouse for the west coast, it has a nice easy walking trail from parking to the lighthouse itself, during busy season you can pay a small fee and climb up the lighthouse and see the views from the top. They have a small gift shop next to it, where you pay the fee for the lighthouse, it is worth a visit, I love coming back, I love this lighthouse.

This is an awesome lighthouse. although I could not do the stairs due to a knee injury, I highly recommend seeing this lighthouse. You can go all the way to the top via winding stairs. The people that work there are very nice, kind and informative. Please visit!

Very nice lighthouse, especially from the inside. There is a charge to get in. Helpful and friendly volunteers give you an educational and interesting tour. Be aware that the water is quite far from the lighthouse since mankind has actually *moved* the waterfront away. So, the surroundings are less than scenic, but no lighthouse buff should miss this.
