During a business trip I had the opportunity to stop me in Barnard Griffin to taste their wine. Very good home wines are superb and you can even eat. I buy a few good bottles I recommend the Chardonnay.

This winery is one of three on the same lane, and its the best for our money. Our "pourer" was knowledgeable and helpful like few others, the tasting room is attractive, and everyone was very unpretentious. It was a pleasure to talk with the folks and see their operation. They don't have a tasting room in Woodinville (the "Eastside"), and somehow this was fitting for the quality of wine and experience that we had.

Nice wine bar, did a tasting of the available wines and purchased a couple of bottles, nice wine, lovely decor, the beautiful glass bar was worth the visit alone. Farmers market on the back deck, very friendly bartender, knowledgeable about wine and about the product there. Was a little disappointed that we could not have a tour of the winery - which was actually the reason for our visit there.

We visited the Tri-Cities recently to try some wine tasting. Our stop at Barnard Griffin was definitely the best experience. We were helped by a charming and knowledgeable woman who made us feel extremely welcome. We tasted several wines and found them to be exceptional. We bought several bottles which are delicious. There is also a bistro which stays open in the evening with live music some nights.

I was able to celebrate my birthday recently at the bistro with some great wine and wonderful food. This recent addition to the winery (the bistro) puts a whole new spin on winery touring. I have visited this winery in the past in their tasting room that has also been remodeled. You do not feel crowded with the counter being so accessible for many wine tasters at one time. The atmosphere of the new bistro is bright and artsy. There was entertainment the night we were there which was very good. I do not live in the area so it was very nice to have experienced the winery's expansion. Barnard Griffin's wine is some of the best in the area.

In a row of three wineries if you your interested in just wine, pick this one. Barnard Griffin has an amazing selection of quality wines at fair prices. They have recently opened up a bistro and the atmosphere is very modern and artsy. I have not really had much of their food, but I have tasted their great little flat bread pizza's which make for some nice wine pairings. The food is much more upscale at Tagaris and Bookwalter, but not the wine ;)

BG Winery has just undergone a remodel and it is fantastic. They continue to expand their menu and of course their wine is wonderful.

We are so lucky to have so many nice wineries in the Tri-Cities, and this is one of our favorites. Rob Griffin and his family have made this into a wonderful destination for award winning, reasonably priced wines, delicious small plates in its bistro, and a fun place to meet your friends after work. There's entertainment on weekends, too, so dust off your dancing shoes.

This was well worth the visit. There wine selection is excellent and the staff are friendly and warm. The smells coming from the Bistro where devine. We bought the Syrah and drinking it now as I write this - tastes great.

We tried Tagaris, J Bookwalter, and Barnard Griffin. We thought Griffin offered the best wines of the three.

Great place for wine tasting, and having appetizers. I hear there is live music a time or two a week also. I like their wine better than the neighboring wineries for sure! It was tasting their wine in a restaurant that got us wanting to go the winery and we are glad we did! We will come back here again and again!

I went to Barnard Griffin the first time when the band Run From Cover was playing an acoustic set one Friday evening. It was an excellent atmosphere and the food was amazing. Paired very well with the wine. Very relaxing evening with some family and friends!

This is a good winery for wine tasting, but it is also a great place to have a snack or lunch, or heavy appetizers in the evening. Great outdoor seating. They also have a glass blowing shop (that we haven't visited yet), and live music several evenings a week. During the summer a small farmer's market is there on Wednesdays. I wasn't a huge fan of their chardonnay a few years ago, but just tried the 2011 chard and it is phenomenal. We'll be going back frequently.

Barnard Griffin is one of 3 wineries in this area: Bookwalter and Tagaris. We rank the wine the best of the 3. We've visited off and on in the past several years. They expanded the area to include a bistro and patio for music, probably to staty competitive to the other 2 that already offer food and music. The entrance is around the back with nice parking. We went early in the afternoon, the tasting room was very empty. Our pourer was less than friendly, she basically just did her job - pour our flights, stood back. No engaging conversation, no explanation of the wines. The portions were less than ideal for tasting. Perhaps it was an off day, or she's brand newThe bistro area is quite large, although we did not stay for meals. It looked inviting enough to come back later. Outdoor has a patio area that looked very inviting. Our party of 4 enjoyed the fume blanc and chardonnay, but wine tasting is so subjective, enjoy what you like! Our friends are mainly white wine drinkers. BG has some nice reds.Tasting fee is $5 and/or $10 for reserves. Refundable with purchase of wine. Quite a good deal as the fume blanc was only $9 a bottle!

It was one of 3 wineries together and when we started to go in, there didn't seem to be anyone in there. It was difficult finding the entrance. We just moved on to the next winery and didn't even try it.
