Loved how relaxed their atmosphere was. It's very casual and open to the public. The owner was extremely welcoming and easy to chat with. Everyone there was friendly and we had nice conversations with all. Their land is BEAUTIFUL!!! Worth the visit alone right there. After your tasting you have the option of taking a bottle of wine onto one of the three patio spaces overlooking a pond and their vineyard. You can even order a snack to go with your wine if you'd like. The only reason I did not rate this a five, is because I was not crazy about the wine. I have a taste for sweeter wine and their wine was not quite to that liking. We did however buy a bottle of red that my fiancé really liked.

The grounds are driving out to see, beautifully done. I thought the wines were a little bitter and not to my liking. But then, I'm really not a wine person.

We visited this beautiful venue recently. The wine was good but I didn't appreciate the staff in the tasting room. The owner said we could pay for tasting afterwards but then a woman demanded we pay first. The owner then said I could have my tasting fee back when I purchased a sale case, however the same staff member said he didn't know any better and I couldn't have it waived. It left a very sour taste in an otherwise pleasant visit.

We attended a group event at this winery. The setting is just stunning. The winery is located next to a private lake. They have several separate outdoor seating areas, including a floating patio on the lake. Since I only drink white wine, I only tried their riesling. It was very tasty. During the summer months, "Music in the Vines" concerts are presented on site.

We were driving back from Portland to Seattle and had time to waste. We stopped in Ridgefield to do some wine tasting and who would have thought this place existed! We came upon Bethany's. The minute you drive in driveway, you know you are at a good place and they proved themselves through their wine, hospitality and grounds. Wish we lived closer to stop in more often!

Walt Houser, is a great host and shares his wines with passion. The outdoor sitting area is beautiful, well groomed, and comfortable. This is a place you WANT to share with friends and family.

Went wine tasting...great people, beautiful setting!!! My daughter was married here in 2006, the experience was superb !!!
