Sound has a home away from home feel, sit inside and partake in a delicious selection of beers, I recommend Monk's indiscretion and the Latona IPA, or on a warmer day (weather permitting) sit outside and enjoy some bar snacks and a cold one; a must for natives and travelers alike.

We learned from brewmeister Weezer that Sound Brewery's best brews are saved for patrons of this tasting room. Try a flite of sample glasses to see which ale appeals most to your taste. I'm a lightweight drinker, so I order a sample glass for $2. Old Scoundrel is my fave this week, but you never know what will be on tap. Two big sellers are Dubbel and Tripel Entendre, although my hubby has been switching off to Ursus Spelaeus Stout recently. Summer is best when they open the garage-type door and put out umbrella picnic tables, but it's a nice casual place to stop off for a break. You'll often see a pup wandering around, although black-and-white Harvey Two-Face will always be special as the original mascot. Search out Sound Brewery hidden at the end of the street across from the quilt shop on Viking Way. If hungry, bring your own food; they serve CB's Nuts ($1/bowl) and bags of chips, but not much else to nosh on. (Ralph's Grocery store down the street actually has very good sandwiches.) There are no stairs, but the tables are so close together that a wheelchair would be difficult. Has wifi and 1 or 2 plugs.
