Wow- really glad we stopped in to this cute little nook on the way to Leadbetter S.P.! We picked up some treats for the trail, admired all of the curious and kooky things the owner had for sale, and splurged a little on ourselves to boot. The building is historic, and the owner has filled the space in a cozy, inviting way. He assured us he would be selling Discovery Passes (necessary for parking at the State Park) next year. We'll be stopping by again!

I loved this. There were 16 listed places on the paper from the long beach visitor center or fun beach.com. Oysterville was founded in 1854. The oldest surviving house is from 1863. You can't go into any that I could see. The cemetery has grave sites from some of the pioneers. We didn't go into the store.

A fun little store. Lots of miscellaneous items including some hand crafted ones. The owner is in the process of restoring the exterior to the original. Very personable and chatty. Do step into the adjoining post office to see the oldest, continuously operating P.O. in Washington. You will love the brass mail boxes with dual combination locks. At the end of the world it seems, but worth the trip if you are in Oysterville.

This little store is a fun place to stop and explore. The owner tries to find local artists who create new and unusual things. He also stocks more interesting food stuff then the usual market to complete your picnic. He is always willing to stop and chat and has great stories about the area.

This is a sweet gem of a store. Lots and lots of history and atmosphere, wonderful antiques and other items for sale, and a killer selection of books on local lore and history, by local authors. Plus food! And you can mail your postcards from there, too. The store's owner has fun stories to tell while he works on his art, and he'll also tell you about cool places to visit while you're in the area. And there's always great music playing in there when we go. It's a really nice place to spend some time. You'll go in for a minute, to get a thing or two, and you'll end up staying for quite a while, and having a really fun visit.

Well... actually it's the only store at this time. But... it had the things we were looking for. Oysters, wine, beer, shrimp, crab that you can buy and eat right on their outdoor deck area.A little far--depending on where you're coming from, but a great spot to relax and enjoy the environment.

Really nice restoration of a historic store. Some nice antiques and craft items along with books on historic Oysterville and the requisite t-shirts. The storekeeper had some good sties to tell and had a sweet Shepard dog. Worth stopping in this wonderful historic village.
