This is a fun park to hike in. There are some hills, but overall it's easy hiking and really beautiful. The paths are easily marked and even if you get lost eventually you'll end up back where you started. Hardly ever busy which is a bonus. Beware of parking - a friend of mine had her car window smashed and purse stolen from her car at this park. Put valuables in the trunk!

A very beautiful and tranquil forest, with not many traces of tourists, making this a great place for escaping the city's scrambling. My puppy absolute loved this park, he even didn't want to leave at all! Furthermore, the forest is very well-maintained for keeping the ecosystem here healthy.

I experienced this forested trail system as a wonderful place to take our dog and hike. Pets must be on a leash, but our puppy loves it each time we go. The trees are magnificent and one really feels like one is in the wilderness. Maintained well with supplies of bags for dogs and a portapotty for people!

This lovely little park is one of my favorite to explore with my pup. Not well traveled like others so can be very peaceful. The Gig Harbor area has done a wonderful job of putting in many wonderful trail systems throughout the community. This is one of my favorite on a rainy day as their is enough tree coverage to help shed a little of the "moisture". It has a little more elevation change then some of the others and can get a little sloppy in spots. You also but share it with cyclists so watch your 4 legged friends. There is good parking next to the fire station and by the entrance.
