Wonderful old building in downtown Ellensburg. The staff was helpful. The museum offers a variety of information about the town, the area, from geology to history. There is a room of old cars & vehicles which will appeal to old car buffs, an excellent rock display for rockhounders and some very interesting old equipment, such as printing press, telephone & switchboards, etc. There was a little bit of everything.

My great great grandparents were early residents of Ellensburg, so it was nice to see their names mentioned in regards to the founding of Kittitas County.

This place has a little bit of everything. Many of the artifacts are not behind glass or ropes so they can be seen and examined closely. There is an especially good military section.

Displays arly history of this Central Washington, college town community. A dedicated board and staff have done a nice job, probably with somewhat limited funds. There is more here than what meets they eye. Clean exhibits and showcases. Do visit.

Helps bring back memories to an old lady like me. This place has lots of history behind it and is a very nice place. The building itself is a great thing to come and see. Thank god my hotel clerk, sugguested for me to come here, i would have missed a great experience.

It's a very interesting and educational museum. It takes you back in time with all the old items stored inside. The history stored inside is very impressive. Kittitas Valley is very lucky to have this great history open to the public.

I had an all-day meeting, and my husband spent all day at this museum. He said that the exhibits were fascinating and he just really enjoyed being able to take his time and look at everything. Great for any history buff!

The old dental equipment and military display was neat, and the rotary telephone was neat trying to see if my son could call using it.
