My husband and I had Shannon as our guide. She was very outgoing and perfect for a trail leader. We chose the mountain course. It was single file through narrow openings and several rocky surfaces. It concerned me for the horses because its a pretty brisk pace, and having horses myself, I wouldn't push them to do anything that was unsafe for me or my horses. But, Shannon had it under control and the horses did great. Overall I would come back, and I would try the river course.

i have gone to ride here a few times Jeff and Shannon are always nice and helpful, they are excellent with small childeren and with people who may be a little intimidated by such large animals.

The horse I was ridding was 27 yrs. old, the oldest by only 7 yrs. of the other 3 in my party. The ride is ALL single file in mud and rocks and roots and in the trees up the hill and then down with NO level trail! If this floots your boat then have at it. My 11 yr. grandson was enamored tho as it was his 1st ride ever. My 40 yr. daughter called it being in trail ride jail as we were constantly told what and what not to do. Never do this ride again at $40. and hr.. Then the lady quide said the workers are all volunteer, not paid, so we gave her a $10 tip---why??!! She'd been doing it for 8 yrs. and had 3 kids----what???
