Excellent family facility and a must if you are vacationing in Chelan. Extremely clean and lots of different areas to spread out; Roof deck, lawn or a little beach area. Decent snack prices or bring your own :) ... fun rides for the whole family!

Slidewaters has put in a lot of energy into updating their park, with new areas, new attractions, and facility updates. We got a season pass last year, and it was so easy to get in and not worry about money in our bag, or using the lockers. Our kids love the slides, and there are so many levels for all ages. Our favorite area is the zero entry beach and water fountains.

We drove from Seattle and stayed in Chelan for 2 days on memorial day weekend. First day, booked a speedboat and spent all afternoon in Lake Chelan followed by fireworks in Lake chelan park. Second day, we just went to slidewaters and got checked in and all by 1 pm. We paid for lockers which was very convenient for us to keep or dry clothes and stuff. There were many water rides for everyone. There were lots of kids around. It was so soothing to be in water all afternoon when the temperature spikes up to mid 80's -90's. There were lifeguards on watch near all the rides. It was a bit crowded but enjoyable for sure. Who would want to spend 6 hours or so in an almost empty water park? Crowded the better but of course not too much. We had to stand in line for a while for few rides which was okk for us because we had company. Food was available in the park near the entrance. We had nachos there before we left. Overall, enjoyed staying there.

When the temperatures climb into the 90's and into the triple digits a trip to Slidewaters in lake Chelan is a must! The life guards are well trained and attentive, which is important for mother, like me with a young kiddo. The grounds are well maintained and clean. The snack bar food is average to good. The ice cream is incredible. I highly recommend the Mocha Almond Fudge and the Chocolate Chip Mint. We buy season passes at Christmas time which is a real budget saver for the locals. Even if your not a local, this is the perfect place to spend a day in Chelan if you have kids.

Took twin 6 year olds for a full day at this well designed water park. Because they knew how to swim, they were able to go on almost all of the slides, even though they did not meet the height requirement. We had a great Labor Day, not too crowded.

Yes, it IS crowded on a 90+ summer day, but everyone seemed to fit in. There was adequate grassed areas to sit. Lots of shade trees. And queues never much longer than 10 minutes on the most popular rides. The ice cream was delicious. There's a ride for all ages and, from the look of the people, all SIZES. No-one here is afraid to let it all hang out!

We were shocked to find no real lifeguards at this waterpark, but merely "pool attendants" who did not pay attention or care to enforce the rules. Notably, the height restriction on the small children's area was overrun with large kids and even adults! The attendants did nothing about it, causing a danger to the small children. Also very crowded. :(

This place is so much fun and such a breath of fresh air compared to large, corporately-owned theme parks. This is a small, locally-owned, water park in Chelan, WA. The place is immaculately kept, the slides are fun and exciting and the staff couldn't be friendlier. While not cheap, it is still a fraction of the cost of a larger amusement park. It does get quite crowded during the day, so I'd recommend going first thing in the morning, or in the late afternoon.

While camping at Daroga State Park we made the short drive to Chelan with friends to experience Slidewaters. Having never been before I was a little apprehensive. Our friends raved about it but I wasn't convince. I am now a believer! 4 adults, 5 kids and an entire day of fun. We did every slide, most multiple times. Our 11 yr old daughter had the time of her life. Slidewaters is very family friendly...While you can't bring in coolers, you can bring in just about anything else.(food, drinks, tents, chairs, umbrellas, etc) We were there on a Sunday, the weather was great, and the park seemed busy but not overcrowded. The lines were never long and you could always find a seat in the shade if needed. At the end of day we had ice cream, showered(mens was cold, women had hot water), and then headed back to the campground. I can't believe that I had never been here before...the park is a hidden gem and I will definitely return given the chance.

On our 4th trip to Lake Chelan we discovered that Slidewaters, one of our must-do activities each trip, had been expanded and improved! What a wonderful surprise - they added an awesome lazy river, picnic area with tables and umbrellas and a water bucket attraction with an additional shallow pool with spray attractions. This has helped to ease the crowds. We always go at opening and are done by 1:30. Grab a burger and fries at the snack stand. There is a gift shop inside as well that sells sunglass safety straps for $2 which are required on the slides. We love this water park!

Great all a round family fun! There was absolutely something for our whole family to do from ages 2-35! One of the best water parks I have ever been to and I have been to a lot!

We have come to Slidewaters a few times a year for that past few years with our kids (8,11). The grounds are beautiful, well cared for. There are lots of slides, play areas for all ages. The lazy river they added a couple of years ago is huge (compared to Mandalay Bay in Vegas). They don't allow coolers in the park (they explain why on their website), so we leave ours in the car, then at lunch, bring in our food. They offer food there as well. There are lots of lifeguards all over the park, so we feel confident letting our kiddos roam without us. Such a fun way to spend the day!

You won't get the big thrill modern rides, just your good old fashioned waterslides. Great for the kids and really fun!Definitely recommend this for a fun visit, especially if you have little ones. You can't lose them in a place this small. The staff were all nice and attentive . My family and I had a great day at Slidewaters!

The Lazy River was our favorite with being able to take my 6 month old grandson with me on the tube.

We came here on a family vacation. My boys, both nearly 4 & 7 years old had an absolute blast! There is a nice range of slides from the most basic to some more exciting ones for the grown ups. However, I don't think the top end has as much to offer as the lower-middle class of rider. That said, for a family looking to get out and have a great time in the sun, this is an awesome place. There is a kiddie area which is great for the baby->preschool crowd and a number of slides that kept my kids entertained for a whole day.Food at the concession is what you would expect from a place like this, a selection of things like hot dogs and pizza. Serving size was adequate and were were able to recharge for some more fun on the slides. We avoided the lunch rush by eating around 130ish which worked out great. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The grassy areas were great and helped to disperse the crowd enough to make things feel less busy than the were on a very hot (90+) day. Lines were not an issue as they can be in some parks. Storage lockers are available as well as a store for any forgotten items (shirts, sunscreen, etc)Overall, this was a great place to visit on our family vacation and I look forward to our next trip to the park. Keep up the good work!
