Aplets and Cotlets, need I say more. Full tour, free samples, store with everything Aplets, yum! You can't go wrong. Whether visiting from afar or a local, don't pass this up. Then go see the Pioneer museum.

Someone told me to go here while visiting Leavenworth Washington state. I was not disappointed. Cashmere is a cute little town to visit, with Aplets & Colets Candy store. They have samples throughout the store for you to try, before you buy. I ended up buying a few boxes to bring back home with me. If you get a chance to visit this town, do so you won't be disappointed.

Did not take the tour but purchased items not locally found. Very worthwhile for that, in the future will take the tour.

We made a special stop in Cashmere with our two grandsons to see the Aplets and Cotlets tour. Unfortunately, they don't offer the tour on the weekends. We had checked their website and it stated: VISITOR CENTER AND TOUR HOURS...April through December: Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5:30pm. Sat-Sun: 10am-4pm. So that was frustrating. They need to make it clear on their website that there are NO tours on weekends. The small store was packed as a bus of Japanese tourist was there; mainly to use the restroom it looked like from the huge line. The store offers free applets and cotlets samples. It would have been nice to be able to browse except for the mob. We left without buying anything.

We enjoyed seeing the tour and tasting lots of candies. Bought a few too! A must to see if you are in Cashmere, a neat little town!!

unbelievably TASTY! Such friendly and helpful staff.Missed the production line but that's OK. I was told by a friend back home to make sure I see this - he was dead on! AND WHAT A NEAT TOWN!

If you like Turkish Delight-type candy, this is the place to get it. Although it's widely available throughout Washington, this is its home and they have varieties that other places don't seem to carry. They also have a wide assortment of other sweet treats and souvenir stuff. If you aren't a candy fan, it's still a fun place to browse. The people are pleasant and the store is bright and clean.

We made a special trip to cashmere just for the aplets and cotlets. Even if you are not a fan of candied fruit, the free samples and free factory tour ( which is interesting) make this a worthwhile stop

I'm from Socal, so I'm not much on the small town country scene. This place is a must go! Visiting my family whom live in East Wanatchie, they recommended it. My wife and I couldn't leave without doing the tour and picking up samples of almost everything, including a t-shirt! Bring the little ones, or come alone, the samples will be waiting for you!

This is a great little stop in the area when the weather is getting very hot by noon or later. We never miss it. Aplets and Cotlets are a sort of Turkish Delight adapted to regional fruits like Apricots and Apples (orchard fruits). The people who do the tours run them something like every 20 minutes or so, and the tours are short but free. Great place to take yourself and kids. Usually in the summers there are free samples out in the shop and those are delicious. You can buy irregularly-cut squares of the cotlets in boxes or store-quality--all equally delicious. They also sell things you can't really buy anywhere else except from their online website: their holiday special (actual Turkish Delight with rose, almond, etc), and their awesome sour-fruity ones. They also have T-shirts, aprons, whatevers. Friendly people and free is always good. We always go to it after visiting the Cashmere Pioneer Village--for years now. We make a day out of Cashmere alone during a few days in the area. If you haven't had Aplets and Cotlets then you're missing something that isn't just good but is essentially Washingtonian.

Lots of items to sample. Free tours of the factory right there.Good wholesome candy and plenty to choose from.

This is a nice store. I would have given it more than average but during the tour the processing was shut down for switching of products. I can understand that but we wanted to see how it all worked.

I have been a fan of Aplets and Cotlets for many years. Folks who know and love the Chronicles of Narnia will remember Edmund eating enchanted Turkish Delight. They make it here, without the magical side effects. There is plenty to sample, and buy, in the store, and the factory is just behind the gray doors. Our tour guide, Lauren, was enthusiastic and kind, and answered our questions. The tour lasts about 15 or 20 minutes, and it's worth it to bring well behaved children to see how candy is made, and also to get a group shot in cute hair nets!

If you like these "Turkish Delights" this is a must stop! Lots & lots of free samples, good prices because some of the boxes are near expiration date so the savings is there. Also bulk bagged applets & cotlets are great prices. We missed the factory tour because the last one is at 3:30 p.m. & we didn't know that. They started the video for us on the large screen where you see the entire process of making the candy, so I doubt that we missed much. Just go earlier in the day if you want to go on the actual tour.

Who wouldn't want to see where yummy candy is made? We did and were very excited... until we started shopping. We were originally greeted by a very lovely young woman who soon left to lead a tour. As we shopped, a different girl (short, long dark hair and olive skin tone) watched us closely and followed us around the store while pretending to straighten shelves. When we got to the counter, she never said hello, greeted us in any way or asked how we were. We actually said something to her about it and she barely apologized. She needs to find a position in the back office before tourist season.
