This vineyard sits just off the freeway on a frontage road which is easy off and on. The view of the valley is lovely as you can see the fall colors in the distance as the leaves turn. The building was kind of Tuscan in design, very nice. Staff was efficient, knowledgeable and very friendly. They do an excellent job of selling their wines. No room to display or sell wine paraphernalia or cheese, but they have a nice picnic area. Worth stopping!

This is a very nice winery located along a frontage road on the way to Prosser, WA from the Tri-Cities. They have a nice selection of very good wines to sample. The staff was very friendly and kept asking if we wanted to try anything else. They are proud of what they serve. Needless to say, I brought several of their wines home.

Lovely location, great reception room, wonderful food and wine. Great people who took care of all of our needs. Happy Bride and Groom and attendees.

When on a wine tour of the Benton City area, make sure you stop by the Chandler Reach Vineyards. Of course the wine is outstanding but the true story is with the CRV Team! If you see that they are having an "Italian Night", only one word comes to mind...GO!!

If you know Red Mountain, then you know that the wines that come from there can be great. Some wines in their portfolio are excellent and some are very good. They don't have 'bad' wines here but not everything is excellent.Very nice tasting room and worth a visit if in the area.

We visited many wineries in Benton and this was by far the friendliest! We were fortunate enough to meet the owner who'd invited us down to see the wine process. We watched the grapes being separated from the stems, listened to it fermenting in huge bins. Then learned about the oak barrels they are aged in and the process of cleaning the sediment in the barrels. It was so educational and fun!

We purchased a VIP wine tour for 8 to support a local charity. Came out here on a perfect June weekend, beautiful sunny day for a great view of the area. Chandler Reach Winery is a right off the highway near Benton City, the Tuscan building can be seen from the freeway. The estate is beautiful with flowers and a lovely patio area. The manager, Shelby, provided the guided tour. We tasted the syrah right out of the barrel, looking forward to purchasing bottles when this vintage comes out.The owner, Len Parris, was great. He came around in our private tasting room and told wonderful personal stories. The antipasti prepared by the kitchen was just delightful! Grilled summer vegetables, crackers and tapenade, several types of cheeses. It was a very enjoyable and special tour indeed.

Chandler Reach Winery is a quick trip down the highway from Prosser. The estate is beautiful and relaxing - it was the perfect ending to my day of Yakima Valley wine tasting. There is a nice patio and a sweeping view of the vineyard, river and Red Mountain. Wines were fabulous - The Chandler Reach Syrah was full of ripe blackberry and black cherry. I also tired the Monte Regalo - very smooth, balanced with black currant and cherry. The owner, Len Parris was great and I was able to taste the very elegant Parris Estate Reserve (2004?) - it was fantastic!!! Soft oak, rounded tannins, rich, but reserved fruit - it was lust at first sip!!! I missed the monthly Winery Special Italian DInner where a guest chef pairs the food with the wines - I am putting it on my calendar of things to do for 2009. Probably the prettiest winery of my tasting tour. Definitely worth an hour of wine exploration. Several other good wineries in the area as well, but Chandler Reach was really special. I'm coming back for barrel tasting.
