We stayed here while on a fishing trip.We were very happy with the friendly staff. Our room was clean and so was the rest of the hotel. We did not get to use the pool area due to construction. The casino was small but very accommodating. We had quite a bit of playback so we were happy. We would definately recommend staying here.the front desk staff let us know if we got a players club card and brought it back to the desk we would get an additional discount. That was a pleasant suprise.

We recently stayed at the hotel and played in the casino. The room was clean and staff was friendly. I was a little worried after reading some of these reviews but we would stay again. Any of the staff that we encountered were friendly. No we didn't win a fortune in the casino but we played and didn't leave broke.We ate in the buffet twice and both times the meal was good. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

We like to go up for crab night on Wednesday ($20.00). We haven't been winning to much. But it is a casino, so what do you expect. The food is buffet style, but there are working on the restaurant, I'm not sure when it will be done.

The casino is located in a beautiful area. Although the casino is small its nice for a quick visit. 700 slots a gift store and a buffet. This is not an all day location and there is not much around, but if you want to gamble for a few hours its a good place to visit.

Save yourself the trouble of a nightmare experience. The bathroom was filthy. The room itself had not been serviced, trashes full. Phone did not work. Safety issue there. Extra charges charged days later after check out. Sadly I cleaned the room myself after I was told they could not move me and someone to clean the room NEVER came, put blankets (luckily I had a few in my truck)on the floor to sleep to avoid the beds. A staff that could care less all the way up to the general manager. The buffet was priced right for the cafeteria food served. The casino clean but you will be lucky to find a choice in Keno machines. There are only four. Will I be back, NOPE. Will I tell everyone about my experience? You betcha.

My extended family and I stayed here when we got together for my grandma's birthday, and it was by far the worst hotel experience that I've ever had. The rooms were very dirty; my husband and I discovered a plate of old, moldy food under the air conditioner in our room on the first night. When we asked to switch rooms, the staff was very rude and acted like we were an inconvenience to them. No one apologized for the filth. Instead, we were told that it wasn't their fault that the room wasn't clean because no one was supposed to be staying in that room anyway. The air conditioning wasn't working in the cabin my aunt rented or in my parent's room. The water in the hot tub was a moss green color and had caution tape around it the entire time we were there. I heard maintenance workers talking about a gas leak with a sewer smell, and I also heard other customers complaining about their dirty rooms. Most of all, the customer service was horrendous! I've never encountered a hotel staff that literally just doesn't care if you're stay is uncomfortable for any reason. DO NOT stay here - complete waste of money and not worth the stress!

I can only speak for my opinion on the hotel as did not either eat or gamble at the casino. I stayed here with my elderly father and we were both very impressed. We had a room that has not yet been remodeled and we both commented on how we thought the room was very nice the way it was and didn't see why it was due for a remodel. FYI, the none remodeled rooms are about $15 cheaper than the remodoled. The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable beds and the staff I dealt with very friendly. We chose to stay here because it is much cheaper than staying in Devils Lk (we were passing through for the night).

My husband and I thought we would check out this casino and resort. Should have known when I called it wasn't top notch. I was quoted 79.95 on the phone. Then when we got there she said 99.95. So then she was not to nice when i said something. We were a bother cuz she had to "find" us a room. My main complaint....Very very dirty! The bathroom looked like it wasn't cleaned in a very long time. The comforters on the bed were very shabby and stained. Tightest slots in the world.. lol. I know it's gambling. But come on. On an up side. Kinda crazy but the 7 dollar buffet was pretty great. We ate it twice! Dinner and breakfast. Most likely will not return.

Went out to casino for there special Valentines Day seafood night! Everything including the King crab and shrimp was cold..very disappointing for the $20.00 they charged. The best thing of entire meal was the Fondue and fruit.

Wow, me and wife came from minot Nd and it was worse experience I had, the security and I think they are casino housekeepers gossip about customers and are very very rude, I overheard a lot of staff talk about the local people and coworkers like its a high school, and the slots are very tight not a good place to go to win anything, the place feels very uncomfortable to go for on a trip away from home. My wife literally just wanted to go home after a few hours because of staff, we decided not to stay at hotel.

Rooms were dirty, the staff was unfriendly, and they charge you extras at checkout. We had some parents and kids stay for hockey in Devils Lake. The kids ( 12yr olds ) swam and had fun in the pool, until they hung the hotel towels on the balcony to dry. The following morning we were checking out and were told we had to pay $15 for a towel that was stained. Apparently when the boys hung their towels on the balcony to dry, some stain from the wood transferred to the towel, There are no signs stating not to place fabric articles ( ESPECIALLY their Towels ) on the railing due to problems. Oh, the kicker is however , they took pictures overnight so they could present them and charge us upon check out. Did I mention the pictures were not Poloroid for an instant photo and there was a blizzard that very night when any developing places would be closed?? I have no problem spreading the word to the Bismarck Hockey community, just plain pathetic! Oh, the elderly couple across the hall were being charged for two missing towels also that morning,

The desk clerk Joanie is a witch the minute you walk in. We had to have housekerping change bedding because it was OBVIOUS they weren't clean from previous guest. The $7 buffet is horrible. The walls are super thin so we were annoyed from the couples activities in the next room.Then at 6:30am we were woke up by a blaring tv. No alcohol allowed anywhere. Not in the privacy of yourroom. Please reconsider and go elsewhere. Slots are tightest I've ever seen. This is a definite NO NO. This is the worst casino I have ever stayed at and we travel a lot....Seriously dont waste your money or time here. Management didnt care at all.

I'm not sure why so many people complain about the food at the casino. We had brunch there this past Sunday and for $7/pp it was well worth the money. They don't have a big variety and the crab legs weren't the best but I honestly can't complain for the amount we paid. My best friend's husband ate three plates of crab legs. The dining area isn't very big so you may have to wait. The only thing I will gripe about is that there were five of us and we had piles of plates on our small table and it took awhile for them to be cleaned off. We didn't have a lot of room either, but we will return and try the dinner the next time we are in the area.

I seriously don't understand why people are complaining. For one thing it is A DRY RESERVATION. So obviously they arent gonna server alcohol. For another its a smoking casino. So of course the casino area is gonna smell like smoke so may as well get over that. I eat at the buffet quite often and I like the food, its very good and the staff has never been rude to me. Always friendly especially the people you turn your vouchers in at! Anyways I seriously would recomend this place to alot of people :)
